I’m from the UNITED STATES, an I live in Texas. I’m not Chinese nor do I have an relation with any, but when I listen to this type of music it makes my soul, body , and mind completely numb an free. It’s like I’m sitting somewhere in china in the mountains with a calm breeze thats not to cold just releasing all the bad energy from within me. It makes me feel powerful yet so at ease that everything around me is in tune an flowing so beautifully. I’ve had alot of bad things happen to me in the 25 years I’ve been on this world, and this helps my soul , mind and body more than anything . It’s like in my past life I was of Chinese origin. I never understood before how people are just so nice in comments, until I started to get the urges to share this warm feeling inside of me with others. Whoever you are, wherever you are, we heal. I go to church every Sunday, pray every day early morning, before food, and before sleep and I praise God whenever good or bad things happen. I am now getting older, listening to other religions preaching, exploring the world, and meeting new people from different backgrounds and beliefs, I feel that I changed my mind, and the way I see the world and religion. I doubt myself, and my belief, and sometimes I wonder if God exists. I stopped going to church, I pray less. And I know deep down, God is my savior and there is God. I don't feel content in my life. @@Chnx050 sometimes we feel like prayer is not working, sometimes we feel God is far away from us, sometimes we feel our faith is gone. Most if not all Christians have passed these periods several times sometimes. But, in all we shouldn't make mistake of abandoning our first love. Even the Paul the apostle had such moments, same to Peter the leader of apostles.
Note that it's not our zeal that we are saved its by grace we receive through Jesus. Our own efforts are futile, going to church won't save us, insincere worship and prayers are worthless. God is looking after obedience and says obedience is better than sacrifice.

I'm thai of chinese descent (Teochew). My father left home to study in Bangkok (capital of Thailand) since he was 8, while my chinese grandfather worked as a laborer in eastern thailand. My father can't speak chinese but he loves old chinese songs and jin yong novel. He met my mother while he was study accounting in university. My mother is also of Teochew chinese descent (her father is 4th Gen thai chinese, while her mother came from mainland china). My mother and her family can speak Teochew but she didn't teach me cause she thinks it is useless.

Chinese flute music help get rid of negative energy, anxiety and stress. It also help me cope with depression as well. Since for the most part. I am generally calm and grounded. I desperately try to stay positive. Much of the time I am usually positive. As such an introvert myself, I embrace my introversion. My philosophical proverb goes like this: morality never shall be accomplished. Without making mistakes. Mistakes equals life lessons. Lessons leads towards morals.

I'm not a chinese but I find this so calming and relaxing like everytime I listen to some chinese traditional songs, when I suddenly recognize the Guzheng and Bamboo Flute's sound, it helps me to calm down from my panic attacks, like, I am at their year, I somehow breakdown when this is playing. Thinking, why this world is so cruel and weird for me without this kind of musics? I am only a minor who enjoys this, it's helping me to forget about my daddy issues probably family issues, listening to this while studying, sleeping, every movements of mine always make me feel like I am not real, that this is just a dream. Or, maybe because of the ancient cdramas made me like this, or, maybe it just part of my likes. I find this really attractive, I wonder if some of chinese still play this. I literally started to cry when I heard this kind of instruments.

I’m from South Korea. The East Asian countries have been both neighbors and enemies each other for centuries.
We share quite a lot of things in common, but at the same time, each countries developed their own unique cultures and musics.
Sometimes, I want to hear those beautiful sounds our string and wind instruments make. It really feels different from western instruments. Somehow, feels more natural. They may lack of grandeur then the sound orchestras make, but feeling the melody really touches my heart.
I'm malaysian always hearing this music. Its me feel better, calm and cool. Chinese instruments so hits different. I like it btw salam sayang daripada malaysia. 🇲🇾❤

May you have a speedy recovery :). I too had a series of accidents which resulted in bad injuries, and I never thought I would recover, let alone get back to normal. Then a friend introduced me to Tai Chi and six years later I am actually in better shape than I ever was. I had to start off really slowly and then after a while, the "clicks" as I call them started to happen. I realised after a while that it was the everyday routine which realigns the body and strengthens all of the supporting muscles and tendons. It needs patience and perseverance. I began with Taoist warm up routines which I stuck with for a year each before I moved on. Now I am learning the Tai Chi long form, which consists of 108 steps. I repeat all of the forms every day now. For me it's really a miracle and I will always recommend Tai Chi - to everybody!

@@prabhnoor_gill Prabhnoor, all the best of luck with your recovery. If you do decide to commit to Tai Chi I would recommend beginning with the Taoist 8 section brocade. Then after a long while , move on to the 12 section brocade. I chose Yang style Tai Chi to continue with after I felt that my body was strong enough to advance - my favorite teacher is Sifu Amin Wu. She's awesome !

I'm american, and the same way. Something about this type of traditional music reminds me of simpler times, despite the music being far from simple. Something about it is just so warm, and homely despite me having no connection to china as a place. No other kind of music really reads like 'home' like traditional Chinese music does.

I listen to this very often and feel grateful to the author. It does both ways-push your stress out and healing you after. Pls cry your heart out if what’s happened or happening is too much for you.
