Floodgates are annoying af, but some decks need it to compete. A BIGGER problem is that floodgates are also used by good decks as well so it's a lose-lose.

But still, nice duel. And I don't mind floodgates! You know, you can't win all duels because every build is not meant to beat all decks.
Problem i have with flood gates is they can strait win the duel by themselves for an easy to resolve single cards effect. They are far too overpowered you can't just lock people out of playing that makes for boring game play in my opinion for both sides.
@@bobtimmyjoeshmo well, that's how supposed to be floodgates meant to be played. I don't get the inferiority complex that some players have,.. some players only cares about winning and that's what matters the most. Dealing with floodgates is no exception,..you have to prevent your opponent from resolving their card or be skillful on breaking their board.

If i wished to play by myself i would play solitaire. you can say you need to have outs in the deck and thats a part of deck building but you are not guaranteed to draw them and you can't counter every bs floodgate that exists.
You can completely lock the opponent if you get the right ones preventing everything from summoning to spell and trap usage. I hate ftks for the same reason but at least those end quickly.

Dark Magician is easily the greatest archetype of all time because of its strategy of stalls or OTKs depending what it's going to do to the opponent next turn so you pull off whatever's next to do.
Enforcer Dinomorphia Dark Magician is just a crazy idea.
I played against a deck like this not long after the DM support came out, i also played against a DM deck using DPE, a lot of people were doing some weird stuff with DM right after the new support came out

That was a very good duel. Unfortunately, the Dark Magician player could have had game if they played it without trying to massacre the field in one turn. They played cards i didn't expect, especially with such few turns!
Am I missing something, I thought when you get rid of Dark Magicians you can summon the fusion materials back on the field because that saved me a few times.

Even if they got destroyed. Most decks cut out DMG. at best she's a garnet, and most times a whole brick. I have personally drawn her one-of copy so much I thought I was cursed

Oppailover69, ID: 038-835-680, Vs Cubics vs Blackwings, 8 turns, WCQ game. My opponent summoned ton of big boys that not even Cubic Lord could overpower, but I was able to burn him to death at the end for exact game.

The variety in Extra Deck, But yeah ishizu makes DM unplayable without annoying flood gates like Soul Drain.

but yeah DM is my 2nd most played Deck in the 18 decks that i made
i enjoyed Despia until Branded Fusion Dropped, till that came, every game was so different with despia.
these days i mostly play
Hero's, Dark Magician, Speedroids and the occassional Pure PUNK, crusadia kaiju decks

I don't hate anime decks or people who play them, but in a best of 1 format like master duel, floodgates definitely need to be hit a lot more than they tend to be. Even back when eldlich was such a problem, it was almost always because half the deck seemed to be annoying floodgates. If you didn't start with all of the outs to however many floodgates they had, you were probably screwed. That being said, i haven't been playing as much in the past few weeks, but I'm just mentioning an example of why floodgates are so toxic in a best of 1. I know eldlich hasn't been an issue for a good while now.
@@عبدالاله-غ6س i don't think every single floodgate should be banned, but I would love to see more done to keep them in check than I've seen in master duel so far. Not every format has been destroyed by them, but some of them should be banned, others should probably be limited. It depends on the format, and some decks have been able to abuse them by having x amount of floodgates, even if they're not 3 of each of the ones that they use. Back when eldlich was everywhere, semi limiting some floodgates just meant other ones would be replacements for the 3rd copy of certain things like the 3rd copy of gozen and rivalry or skill drain could be a copy/copies of anti spell, or something else like that.
