I don't really have the money to support another person right now, but I'll for sure keep watching/ share to support anyway I can to keep these videos coming! Your last ps2 video helped me out so much, I can't thank you enough!
Oh God, don't worry about it! Just watching my videos is more than enough support 🙂 I'm still a small TH-camr. I don't have any Patreon or anything set up (nor do I know how it works lol) and still a ways to go to apply for monetization. Best support any fans can do is to like, subscribe and watch. I'm not worried about funding for the channel anyway. I'm only like 60 bucks invested in this where I bought a cheap camera light and a couple cheap microphones. Otherwise I shoot on a Canon 7D I bought in 2010 during my photography days and edit with the free version of DaVinci Resolve on my laptop. It's working for me for now 🙂
Quality comes from a variety of things. You don't always need to have the best to have the best gear to have good quality content, and you have just that. Me personally would rate you with the best channels that do it on TH-cam because there's information to learn in what you provide.
@@Daffydubs Thanks for the kind words! Hearing that kind of positive feedback makes me feel like I'm on the right track 🙂 And your right. It's about the artist rather than the equipment. But I'm not gonna lie, I definitely wouldn't mind upgrading the camera. Using a DSLR from the early days of DSLR video....well they didn't get it quite right yet lol. The camera can be finicky lol. But I've learned to work with it.
That's not a bad idea. I think if I recall correctly I did that to my personal N64 (I don't believe I used grease though). My friend who gave it to me had it stuck and tried prying it out. I used to grease with GameCube lid buttons but was then thinking over time the grease will accumulate dust and grime. Have you had any long term issues with dirt and stuff getting into the grease in the reset button or has it pretty much stayed clean?

I usually lightly sand the edges of the reset switch and a light coat of white litium grease

@@titanrepairs no i havent i use a grease thats not dust absorbing and the amount of grease i use is almost non
@@anthonyaviles8665 I think I may give it a try. I usually grease certain parts in disk drives. What is the grease you recommend?
Parts of that PSU could be salvaged or replaced, I'm surprised you didn't try to remove and clean with IPA. That would be interesting
That was so satisfying when it booted up!
You're telling me. I had no idea what I was gonna find.
