The ability to exit the truck anywhere and walk around on foot would be the mother of all updates!
Yes. Especially when you reach a view point
@@vutomy Shouldn't be a big thing to implement, since we already can walk around the truck in the garage/workshop. So, what's up there? XD
You can still do it with 0 camera 🤣
@@BruceCarbonLakeriver Maybe we can walk around at gas stations and filling fuel tanks manually or walk to the hotel to sleep.
thats good and everything, BUT, i want to see my friend('s) sitting next to me and we can change who drives whenever we want, and we want more than 1000-1500km long drives. like 2k-3k km.
"Pedestrians are now going to cross the street and you have to stop to let them cross".... I just realised I am a psychopath.
Im still waiting for multiple loads i like longhauling its beter money but i dont like just driving having to have 5/10 stops loading and unloading before the finale destination and having to plan the route yourself would be awsome
if you max your long distance driving ability you get jobs that go as long as the map allows
@@subzeeroCS i know what im saying is i want realism having to pick up loads in different cities and unloading them in another country picking an empty container up from a depot loading it up and bring it back to the harbour deliver fuel to fuel stations bringing loads to places where it makes sense not backing up an dump trailer in to a dock
Add dirty(this could be added like uv decals layer/low/mid/high dirt/ just like gta do) and truckwash, improve the physics with downhill inertia, grip and traction settings adds a lot of inmersion
I'd love to see following things:
- rigid trucks (and several variations of them) (incl. splitted deliveries where trailer freight and truck freight has a different customer and you can plan it out yourself)
- Crane and other interaction stuff with Trucks (thinking about Snowrunner) driving in more explicit constructions sites with some offroad challenging stuff. Craning stuff in and out, towing other trucks and get a winch for your own, for any case and there will be cases ^^ - it would be make more sense to use Michelin X3D tires then, b/c of traction.
- Better tech simulation, well the fuel consumption still is somewhat depending on the gear you are in and not the actual load of the engine vs speed. better simulation of engine temps and air systems and wear. (like overloading your engine causes wear to repair), furthermore randomized failures would be great as well. Like any other simulators (thinking of the FSX or FlightSimulator 2020) where even tiny parts can break down. Using a randomized failure mode or an explicit one, like fuel injector on Cyl 2 is down (or worse, drips). Tire blows, vent and air line blows, brake break downs, well kind of any part that can be damaged/weared out or can randomly fail should be considered. Did you've checked your lights today, truck driver?
- More interaction about loading and unloading in general, so sure it is neat to not have the daily chore in your beloved game but having the option to activate it would be nice. Getting the straps and chains on correctly, and so on. That'd be neat.
- correcting speed limits. I still can't comprehend why somebody comes to the idea there are 90kmh limits in Europe via traffic signs. There are for sure non in Austria (where I'm from) and in the most other countries ain't any either. So, why ?! Sure it is a detail, but that makes it even more odd.
- It is like a monster demand, but getting a new scaling level would be nice. Bigger cities, more streets and yes, then the 1000km trip needs more than one real time hour, so what? But hey, I understand this would be a nightmare for a game developing company.....
"without the wrong impression about practicality" - sounds like getting those senseless EV-trucks in the game is kinda political huh? They are, I tried, my colleagues tried, the only thing they are good for is a nasty burn down, that's it! Use your devs for making rigid trucks, not these EV cancer craps!
So there is that xD my 12 cents....
I'm 100 positive that SCS will do all these things
@@vutomy 🤩
Agree
1 - Seems interesting. Theres mods currently for that
2 - That does sound like Snowrunner, but it would destroy the games purpose, since the game is about logistics. Then again, they did say they could potentially bring in buses, so this might be good I guess
3 - The failure mode uhhh... my budget would cry xD
4 - Personally I'd be fine with a cutscene of loading and unloading cargo (Used to work in that sphere, would get flashbacks of it xd) , like it is with using a ship. But an option would be nice, like it is with parking
5 - Im guessing its to make the game more simplistic. Changes are happening every day every month in real lifes roads, it would be hard to keep up with it
6 - I'd love bigger cities too but... ETS2 would then become the biggest game to download ever lol
Dont lash out to me please, thats the way I see things! ETS2 is definetely fun, but it depends on people. I dont play much, usually like two short trips, or one long trip, be it with a trailer or heavy cargo. They didnt do much of things because of how optimized and balanced the game is, with enough content to keep your attention. Triple A games nowadays should take notes from SCS for their good and hard work (And that is coming from a guy who isnt much intro trucks, yet still plays such games from time to time :D )
@@BloodMoonVA
Haha I got ya point.
Ad 1) I know and I use them. But loading the trailer and the truck isn't possible for modders to create b/c of game mechanic limits.
Ad 2) I've worked as a wood logger (with crane) and as a tow truck driver (heavy stuff) and I'd say it is logistics as well. I recently upgraded my crane license to "the big cranes" b/c of the high demand. There is that. Could be implemented as an option as we've both mentioned possible "flash backs" :D like Ad 4).
btw.: I couldn't care less about busses in a truck game xD
Ad 3) I'd consider that one as an 'activatable' option (like hard mode). :)
Ad 5) I never saw a 90 kmh sign anywhere in Europe.......
Ad 6) Not necessarily, since you're literally changing parameters which have a small data base. It would be a different story if we'd talk about a bigger variety of buildings and/or texture resolutions. Then this thing will become a behemoth ^^
Well I've got ya point and as mentioned I'd like to see such things rather as options than as "must go with it"-stuff. But how much of an Simulator is it actually? The FSX is 10 years older and is more accurate in the matter of simulating your "vessel". It'd be sad if ETS drifts slow but certainly into an more arcade like game, instead of the simulator aspect of it. And give it a bit more depths, like with different "mini games" like cranes or tankers, silos and so on. By interacting with them (or having the option to "fast proceed" like with parking).
Considering they'll introduce EV trucks but no rigid models is mind boggling to me, same with having "ad blue" to kinda refill but still no smoking stacks for trucks without ad blue, the old ones.
I recognize some balance issues in priorities in the macroscopic perspective of things. Like, take your argument about "it is about logistics", ok. Why ain't there mixed loads yet? With ridgis and with semis, yet? Where you load a mixed freight and deliver them to different places. Where is the logistics there?
ATB, and safe roads,
Bruce
So the pedestrians will be realistic like real life? Okay so they’ll step out into the road and expect a fully laden HGV to stop so they can cross 😁😁😁
Yes
Yes
Been having a break from ETS, but watching videos and hearing about the updates really gets me excited to have a long drive 😀
abou the npcs and realism, I always thought that other trucks loading and unloading in the companies wold be cool. And see your employees on the map, it's a small thing, but everyone would like
I'm all for it as long is it doesn't make it more resource hungry... I have an Ubuntu rig with GTX 1070 and it's very nice and smooth at 4K with most settings on high or ultra, it would be a shame if they ruined that. I would pass on pedestrians crossing the road if it makes the city driving choppy.
I would like to See a Mercedes Benz Atego
It needs to be added to multimedia so that you can add your own videos, as well as the visibility of switching music tracks.
I think 1.50 will be around April 9 since Renault said something that will come at that day.
Pedestrian crossing the street? Not gonna happen with me going 160 kmh.
Mind the speed limit
Hope they expand city and road networks like in GTA series. Overall GTA is great in scale but it’s not big enough even with GTA 6 map comparison too ETS map. It’s bigger than gta 6 map though lacks in road networks in cities to explore while gta has the road networks but lacks in map size.
A worn-out radiator system like tires would be great, and if you let the radiator wear out after a while, the engine will wear out.
No visual damage model for vehicles, and no AI traffic for TruckersMP to fill the empty roads, are two major drawbacks of this game and its engine.
Why don't they put lights inside the cabin for when it's night??, my god it's so simple and basic in an emulator
i personally would also like to see better fps or world editor abilities for potatoes like mine
i think of a two truck pulling a heavy cargo one of you're friends towing a heavy cargo or pushing
when will the new update from ets2 be released
It will be better when we actually get DX12 and DLSS.
My problem with ETS2 is that the game play simply gets so boring. I've played for a few hundred hours, have $5m or so in the bank, about 35-40 drivers and all the flash trucks I could want. But then what do I do to make it fun? I've been all over the interesting countries (not everywhere of course), seen most of the photo sites and videos. I've tried every cargo multiple times. I've tried buying trailers and got bored with that even quicker due to doing the same jobs over and over. I tried ATS and was so bored with the scenery I lasted about 8 hours.
What I want is some new and better challenges. For example, why is the driver management so stupidly simple? There needs to be a lot more work done on that side of it as all you can really do is manage their skills, move them and give them better trucks (which makes you no more money as far as I know). We need them to have personalities and have problems you need to solve - like they maybe they quit half way through a job and you need to decide what to do - what drivers there are spare that could do it? Or do you take the job over?. And what about their driving record? If they were driving badly (speeding, hitting other vehicles and and causing costs) then you should be able to warn them, dock their pay or have other options to manage them. What about the servicing, insurance and registration side of it? They are all real costs that just get ignored. (The servicing is a joke - the trucks never expire so you can just use them forever).
So I'd like to see more depth in game play before anything else. I love ETS2 but the truth is I gave up on it a year ago and only play every now and then for an hour or two before I'm bored again. (What does anyone else do to make it interesting - am I missing something?)
Also, the vehicle AI *still* needs so much work - cars and trucks still barge in on roundabouts, some of the lane changing is suicidal and too often you arrive a log jam where only one vehicle needs to move a tiny bit for it to clear away but no, you have to teleport to the other side to get around it because the AI can't work out how to resolve it. Also the fines system and police AI is ridiculous - you can speed for 100's of kms without any problem then get pinged 3 times in a row for going 52km through a 50km area. And when you hit other vehicles there should a proper fine system and demerit points on your license. And if you keep doing it then maybe you pay a huge fine and lose some of your rating. At the the moment, If you've got enough money you can just charge around everywhere hitting other vehicles and never worry about a thing which is ridiculous in a game that has 'simulator' in it's title.
I upgraded to 1.43 as soon as it came out and I did not see any real improvement in any of the stuff above.
I *want* to get back into ETS2 but for me to play again, I don't want all the fancy graphics as much as I want better game stories and involvement and for the AI to actually reflect real life across the game. Maybe in ETS3???
These are the features players really want
Charging station just add to petrol stations
A new AI system would be nice
All I want is more interior options
Lack of context for the win. A Dev, wants fixed trucks, NOT SCS, and if implemented, requires alot of preparation.
They just should lower the prices of dlc's
Lol
New volvo we need
i would like pedestrians crossing road
Me2
people asking for tandem long years now, its time for SCS to wake up ones
Still the same dumb AI? Cooool ...
Ai is a problem
What's rigged trucks?
Add Rigid Chasis!!!!!
Licencing
Hopefully by the year of 2030 they will change their hideous engine and update it to a newer one, since the game looks awful
Wonder if youll ever put africa in n dlc with south Africa iam fron south Africa will love to see that one day to
I dont think that will happen. It's a European Truck Simulator
does the tandam come in 1.50?
No bro
Do we get the update? I bought the game and it is fair to have the update
Yes.

garbage trucks with garbage routes would be interesting
Yeah
It will be a VERY BIG mistake if they decide to add electric trucks to this game! People are sick and tired of having the climate alarmists telling us how to live our lives in the real world! Bring it into a game, and they might not get quite the reaction they hoped for; be very careful SCS!
I'm curious how they will sound. Electric trucks
1.50 업데이트 언제 되나요?
Probably this month bro
mhm was sooo anoying.
No one would drive a electric truck in ets2
Still looks shite.
SCAM
We Need Unreal Engine 5
They are using the older engine.
But it will be updated
@@vutomy im happy where its at for now, gives me time to update my aging gpu
Sure, if you want them to discard 20+ years of game engine, software developing experience & millions of €, they can do it
Man you can't just switch a game that was made on another completely different engine to another..plus unreal engine is ass with driving game except afew like acc.

At 1:31 will there be these types of trucks ( tandems ?) on the official Ets2? without being a mod. I would like to know if it will be official on Ets2
@vutomy
Grazie mille
Looks nice, but I'd prefer bigger cities with way more streets
The map scale is 1:20. So cities will be smaller
@@vutomy yes, but right now in vanilla version cologne is just about 3 streets anf everything what goes in the centrum is closed
@@vutomy and the whole "Eifel" doesn't exist. That would be amazing to be patched in. :)
Yessss, this game really needs more scenery in the cities, more things to look at like pedestrians and populated cafes, etc. They're incredibly small even given the scale.
@@vutomywould love for this game to be a 1:1 of europe but i would be asking for too much there🤣
Rigid trucks would be amazing to be fair.
It would be a great help, it would be much easier to make mods and it would eliminate the need for an invisible cargo mod, just for this type of truck, and it would also make it easier for bus mods.
The bdf tandem mod exists. It’s a little janky but it works. .
Couple years ago there was a krone box truck in the base game files, After it got discovered they took it out of the game, And as i understand is that the dev working on it no longer works for scs.
@@George_E1907the trailers are atrocious though. Takes away any kind of realism.
I've said it for years that this game needs a calendar and seasons. The game right now should be in summer. Orange-ish atmosphere, fallen leaves and yellow trees and cloudy skybox in autumn. Snowy roads and falling snow instead of rain in winter. I have no idea for spring. But this game needs seasons.
Rigid trucks will be amazing.
i wonder when they will add weather seasons
That would be nyc
BIG UPDATE 1.50 has new pedestrians? lmfao I've had them disabeled since like 2021
It's something bro
Yep, that's also nothing special for me. Although I've them activated but couldn't care less.
I'm usually annoyed enough by "real life pedestrains", you've got smarter creatures on a molden piece of bread xD
Seeing my Company Trucks on the road and economy fixes would be ideal. Rigid Trucks would be nice.
SCS Software is now adding to the game everything that modders have previously created for the community, enhancing what has made the game great. Without modders, SCS wouldn’t have had examples of what to add, and the game would probably have failed. Support for the modders community, thank you!
Modders have kept the game alive....
So SCS "might" and "hope" and "plan" and "want" to add all kinds of things, not neccesarilly in update 1.50. As has been said these are things that modders have cracked already. In the mean time things that should have been tackled way earlier (like the totally unrealistic air brakes and the unstable trailers) are not addressed. Resting on an industrial estate etc. would be good too, getting out the cab to wind the legs, connect the "suzies" and open the fifth wheel. Make it a simulator, don't just call it one.
I mean thats one of the reasons why i stick to the vanilla version of the game in-terms of maps and just wait on dlcs because most of these features probably wont be in 3rd party maps. I get that 3rd party maps add alot but i mean if i were to choose it would only be scs dlcs, pro mods and terra maps thats all. Same for ats pro mods, terranaps and reforma🤷🏽♂️
Very true
I just want better implementation of VR into the game. Thats all and I'll be happy :)
I'll be happy when they add rigid trucks to ATS.
Been waiting for a W900 dump truck.
Course I see that happening before a wrecker option becomes available.
i would love to get more realistic cabin physics and brake but also gearbox sounds
The new truck physics should make possible to feel that the truck weighs 40tons
"Pedestrians are now going to cross the street and you have to stop to let them cross", Bro thinks imma let them pass 💀🙏
They could also stop virtue signalling and finally release Heart of Russia. The DLC is almost complete I guess, it's pointless to keep it hidden somewhere
It is complete. But wont be released due to war
I will never drive there , i think nobody going to buy that
People will buy it, i will buy it, just want to enjoy driving in the game and doesn’t matter about the real world. That’s half the reason to play games right, to leave real world behind. @@LarsSvalastoga
@@LarsSvalastoga if you don't want to drive there, it's your problem my man. I just want the game to be expanded and not listen to their moralism. They should just do their job and that's it
@ZendexYT their job is to develop and release games/DLCs.
If I refuse to do my job I get fired. I see no reason why they should be praised for it. After all releasing the Russia DLC will change nothing in the current situation.
So they should just stick their virtue signalling somewhere and do their damn job
we need older parts of the map to be redone like the UK for example
they are already busy with that... germany is the oldest part of the map thats being redone right now switzerland has had a major revamp... benelux might be next but UK will come eventually
Nice update. But when will update 1.50 be released.
SCS are taking tym with this one
Probably this month. It is a big update.
They have to make sure it is good

I love the fact that this game is going strong since the early 2010's and getting continuously getting imrpoved both visually and content wise
I will wait until one day all map connect to Viet Nam country too
Don't want more truck variety there are plenty of trucks already. I want quality and some improvements and new things. Like I want to choose how many hours a player can sleep,
I want my player to stop the truck get out and walk around, stop at rest stations or gas stations get our fill tank, buy energy bars to lower sleepiness, by default remove those glowing
markers just lining on the ground like mods do, as our company grows so comes variety in missions, and have to deliver like satellites for better network coverage for our AI drivers
and their income grows, their vehicle breaks down you use a pickup truck or a car and go to their location either you complete their delivery or repair their vehicle.
We can buy a house and like go from house to workshop by car then get out pickup truck, change clothes etc Basically endpoint is something similar to GTA 5, truly open-world and good story
they should add food system even free mobile games have this and they would add option to turn this off too
If Rigid chassis trucks are coming to ETS2 will they also be coming to ATS?
Probably yes. But it will take time because of licensing
More realistic ai vehicle movement. Ie; lane changes, making turns , make more like irl less ai looking.
Bitte machen sie den ETS2 und ATS für alle Sim Raicing Lenkräder kompatibel.
I really want an ownable car transporter trailer to be added
In future yes
they should add pedestrians crossing the road
Yes. They will
many of us asked about UK rework and better antialiasing but here we are getting served with electric trucks instead that i have never seen someone asked for
Be patience bro
Zróbta tandemy do drywna
+1
I'd like to see lowdecks, tho. Especially since they broke the physics of smaller tires and keep themselves in secrecy about what they changed.
That would be nice
игре нехватает физики мягких шин.. рандомных поломок в рейсе..
But not realistic AI or even good working triple monitor support, this is added to every driving game but not ets2.
Don’t forget Euro Coach Simulator, which is expected to be a DLC rather than a separate game.
Release russia map dlc already for god sake. It's freaking ets not euts or natots
Sorry to be negative but tht biggest update seems to be that there is no news. A lot of what scs is suggesting is actually already integrated with mods. Come on SCS.
SCS should employ talented modders
If you use mods and the new updates are useless for you, thats 100% your problem, and not SCS's.
@@vutomy They do, some Devs from ProMods are working now for SCS.
they can employ max2712 for the sound

No konečně se dočkáme oficálně tandemů. Jen cca 12 let 😅😅😅😅nebo kolik
I wish they had a more realistic feel to the game like being able to get out and walk around your truck and connect the hoses, Chnage your tyre, do a inspection check, Man this game being for Years and its behind in sooo many ways
If ETS Video why showing ATS Content ? LOL
Still no update on the 389 revamp, oof.
Great, still only using one Core
RIGID TRUCKS HELL YEAH !!!!
They need to upgrade the engine sound. Its terrible in my opinion. They only did a good job for Ats. The only truck with a good sound is the Man TGX
Even Daf XG is better.
I just need the AA fixed
Won’t they try to atleast bring it on console for some of us to also enjoy it
sometimes some games should stay on the platform there meant to be on to be fair,, farming sim is boring on console, trust me youll want a pc
@skdzgameplays2078 most console players don't care abt mods. The game is fine without too I don't get why pc players hate the thought of ets2 coming to consoles but they beg for shit like ghost of tsushima or any other Sony exclusives and xbx ones before they went to pc. Yall already have everything let people just experienced the game
Dump trucks is needed!
voleur de contenue as banir sur youtube
Instead, I would first fix the performance problems and generally improve them in order to get rid of the hard fps drops that occur on any system
and finally bring the game graphically into the 21st century (DLSS, DLAA etc.)
Right, so let's put loads of effort into electric trucks which will never happen in real live but drag on not having rigid units, which were the first ever trucks on the road and also just not bother with actual real world weather in different countries.
Harbors and factory terrains are way to small in ets. One thing that keeps bothering me are cars standing still on highway ramps. And i mss the courtesy from the other vehicles. For instance when you leave a factory and there is a traffic jam, no vehicles will let you merge.
Looks very cool, but the only change i really want right now is the revamp of Tallinn because the current one doesnt even look close to the real life apart from the church
I'm suprised the rigid trucks weren't introduced the first thing on relase...
I wish they collab with promods modders, they really did a great map rework
Is it on being released to consoles along with American Truck Sim or is Alaskan Road truckers got a release date yet if it not then it's not huge and I don't care
Is there really anyone out there who uses electric trucks for long haul distances?
And how would you do that even? With a diesel generator trailer?
