Thank you Shasta, I'm dyslexic so I get confused easy. I've always wanted to learn to tat but the patterns and videos frustrated me. Yours really makes it easy to follow. You have my praise.
I love your videos. Is it possible for you to do a bracelet from start to finish. I have looked at a lot of videos about tatting on here and yours is one of the best!
Yes you definitely can. It would just require lots of weaving in ends. You just add the new thread like you would in the video where I show how to add in thread when you’ve run short. I linked that one here 😊 th-cam.com/video/NbfQp5g7fDU/w-d-xo.html
Saludos y muchas bendiciones, Shasta!! Me encantan tus videos!! Ah! Y ya estoy suscrita a tu canal!! Espero nuevos videos pronto!! Qué bueno que encontré tu canal!!
For me personally it’s just trial an error when I’m designing something. I’ve found that in this type of pattern when I’m attaching the rings together between chains, a chain with 5 picos seems to work pretty well.
The green stays attached to the ball so you don’t actually have to measure and take a certain amount for this motif. I like to use 2-3 feet of thread when I’m only using one color and if I run short I add in more. I’ll link a video on how to do that below.

How do you know how long to make the chains in relation to the rings? I sometimes make the chains too long and they look goofy.
For me personally it’s just trial an error when I’m designing something. I’ve found that in this type of pattern when I’m attaching the rings together between chains, a chain with 5 picos seems to work pretty well.
How long is the green thread please
