Nah. Scrooge but evil-er. Scrooge isn't a good person if you ever read comics. I would never call someone who treats his naphew as personal slave and exorts him on every ocasion to be good.
The choice to make him a moron was done so well. While funny, it could have easily made him less threatening, but they made his incompetence so that it was also dangerous. Half the time his schemes end up causing him harm as well, but its still up to Scrooge and the gang to save the day.
He's also the kind of person to waste an entire year to have a staring contest with a baby frozen in time. That kind of tenacity not only sells the idiocy, but it also explains how he became a billionaire to begin with

@TheFansOfFiction Season 3 in general was unfocused, opened up a lot of possible plot threads and worldbuilding knowing it wasn't going to go anywhere, and FOWL didn't have the presence or intimidation factor of Magica or Lunaris, especially Bradford, he's one of the worst characters in the show.

Most of it was based on information we learned in the finale, or in a very few episodes directly before it, instead of wrapping up loose arcs from throughout the series. We didn't spend enough time developing the FOWL as a threat for the characters prior to the finale. I'm honestly not sure that anyone but Scrooge and the audience even knew they existed before the last few episodes, much less that they were working everything behind the scenes. And even Scrooge didn't realize they were a major threat. I'm not saying they were a bad final boss, just that they should have been established more. Even that annoying kid who hated Louie was a more established villain than FOWL. The moral doesn't relaaly make sense. What does "family is the greatest adventire of all" really mean? This isn't a fatal flaw; it's cute enough, but the rest of the plot wasn't solid enough to hold it up. Despite the fan service, lot of major characters that the audience cares about were left out completely; including some with unresolved arcs. Objectively, Moonvasion was a better finally. It included most of our favorite characters, including the villains, in major roles, fought an established and frightening threat that the characters had an emotional investment in, was an epic spectacle with actual build up, wrapped up several loose arcs, gave the fans a lot of moments they wanted to see (Glomgold and Scrooge working together, the Dela & Donald reunion, Della learning to trust Louie, ect.), and didn't try to bring up new lore that couldn't be expounded upon. I am glad we didn't end on Moonvasion, because there were still many unresolved arcs and it would have been a tragedy if we didn't see Della and Donald working together more, but artistically it was better. The Finale wasn't a bad episode (thoguh I have major gripes with Webby's reveal on all fronts), but it was a bad finale.

I love that the method to defeating lunaris wasn’t a well thought out plan. But rather a scheme so crazy, it made lunaris have an aneurism trying to find deeper meaning in something glomgold made with silly string and prayers.
My favorite Flintheart comic book story is Happy Birthday, Flintheart Glomgold. Where it's established that he has a nephew of his own, Slackjaw Snorehead. Slackjaw comes off as a typical lazy college student, who Flintheart forces to work for him at menial jobs like running an ice cream cart and a shoe shining stand (one comical exchange is between him and a man in a suit who wants a shoe shine, and when Slackjaw remarks that the man should just wear sneakers, the man walks away saying "Snea-... I will not stand here and be insulted!").
