This was perfect. So Helpful. Not only did this video show us how to change the light bulb on the left side, but also how to remove the fusebox. So very helpful. Saved hundreds on labor costs thanks to this video Mr patel.❤
Jash Patel is amazing. First he's put out several great useful videos on various cars, but it's more than that. I was struggling with trying to replace the LEDs on my daughter's Hyundai Accent, the high marker brake light. I couldn't find anything showing me how to remove the lighting fixture and reached out to Jash. Just a few hours after I sent him a message he emailed me back with photos and all kinds of helpful info on the light fixture. Wow! Just amazing. Thank you so much Jash.
Thank you so much, Virar, super helpful and clear instructions! I successfully installed a new LED headlight bulb into my 2012 Hyundai Accent. Didn't need to move the fuse box on the driver's side, because my hands are small. First time in my life to work on a vehicle, yay, so proud of myself that I can change a lightbulb lol. I bought the bulbs on Amazon and searched for How To videos, and yours was the best one on TH-cam, thank you again. :)
Thank you very much for your comment. Glad you found the video helpful. You should be proud of the accomplishment. There is always a first time for everything. Now onto tackling bigger problems next time. :)
I have a 2014 Hyundai Accent and had to use a different bulb. The bulb catalog number was # 9005. And replacing the bulb only required me to unscrew the cap, twist the plug a quarter turn, then unplug and replace the new bulb. It was a little tight, but I didn't need to remove the fuse box for the driver side bulb.
Thanks for this vid- I couldn’t figure out how to take these bulbs out for the life of me. It’s really hard to see the clip, especially on the drivers side bulb where the space is so cramped. This was the sort of video that’ll save a lot of people a trip to a mechanic shop and a lot of $$$!
Nice video. i did not pull the fuse box but used angled pliers carefully to pull the plug out. If my wife had been around, her smaller hands probably could have done it.
For the 2016 model, you have to take the battery out as well. Not enough room between the battery and fuse box to get that second bolt, at least for me.
Yup, I just checked my 2016 Hyundai Accent and even with the fuse box moved there’s not nearly enough space. I had to remove the bolts holding the light fixture in and take the whole casing out.
I want to ask you something please, that only h4 and 9003 led bulbs will be fit? Because someone told me that you can put h11 also so can you please guide me
Be careful moving the fuse Box... when using a ratchet if you remove the top of the fuse box first it may spark. My suggestion is leaving the top of the fuse box on while removing the bolt closest to the dash. Or disable the battery first
I didn't need to remove the bolts to the fuse box on the drivers side and move the fuse box out of the way to get to get to the bulb. I'm not sure if my hands are small enough, or the bulb is shorter than the one he uses, or if my 2011 Accent GLS was just built differently 😂 But I do know I wasted money buying a drive ratchet and socket set at Walmart because I listened to this guy. But a very helpful video nonetheless. THANK YOU!!
I think its the smaller hands and its probably because its a 2011 Accent GLS. That is a different body style then the one this video is for (2012-2017).Often on my other videos I get comments from viewers saying that they have a hard time accessing things they way I show, and that has led me to conclude that I have smaller than average hands, which is a good thing when working on cars and trying to access hard to reach things.
Different year model than mentioned, also I’m sure you’ll need to use that drive ratchet and socket at some point in your life, or someone in your household. It’s good to have one around just like a screwdriver, wrench, drill etc
Just changing the headlight bulbs should not alter the headlight aiming. As long as the headlight bulb is installed just as the existing one was installed, it should be the headlight aiming. The headlight aiming can be adjusted but that would be a separate video.
I swapped out my stock ones for new LED headlights yesterday. I used the car earlier and I literally saw the driver of the car opposite me making a left turn to my lane put up his hand to cover his face. When I got home I tested on our backyard and I was 30ft away from one of our delivery trucks that had tall backs and it literally lighted up the whole back. I think I may have to adjust it lower.
Got it. Thanks for sharing. Yeah I have seen that some of the aftermarket LED ones have a fixed beam angle, some of them you can change it. If yours allows you to change the beam angle of just the bulb, I would suggest you first try that, if that doesn't work then you will have to adjust the headlight alignment itself
I have a 2016 and I’m STRONGLY considering upgrading my bulbs bc I just got home from driving in the rain at night and I couldnt see a thing. They make me question if they’re even on 💀
Check out the link description for the Auxito LED bulbs! Great choice. I have had them on 3 of my own cars now for 2+ years and no issues with them and a big difference in terms of visibility.
Unfortunately I don’t think this is a great video for this repair. I had to do both bulbs and the driver side bulb has a completely different bracket that holds the light in place. I was only able to get one hand in there not two. Also I had big trouble putting the driver side bracket back into the slot because of the tension. Rather than say it’s the same process as the other side please show the other side. Just some criticism.
Unfortunately I think your driver side headlight assembly may have been replaced at some point because the headlight bulb fitment is the exact same on both the sides. And you can see in the video I am able to get both my hands in there to get the driver side bulb out
@@VirarAutomotive for some reason the driver side pin was oriented completely different than the one on the passenger side. I’m not discrediting you I used your method by taking the fuse back loose instead of what other people did on YT which was take the whole assembly out. Which was unnecessary
5 minutes my ass. I had to take the battery to take off the fuse box. THEN I could not get the caps to screw back on. My God...I have been doing this for an hour now
Actually your instructions were great. Your picture showed plenty of space between the battery and the fuse box. Mine had no space. Also replacing the caps the 4 o'clock was somewhat helpful. Also I did not know the wire fastener actually had a little notch to secure it back. NOW I can do this in five minutes. Thank you

I was able to replace my driver's side bulb without removing the fuse box, but it was painful. I probably should have done that for my own sanity.
@@JosephGentheri lost the gd clip trying to do that, now i have a derpy headlight while i wait for a replacement. Clip entered another dimension.

would've appreciated seeing the clip being put back on. I had a 2007 Mazda3 with the same clips and they were absolutely awful.
