Swimming in the 2024 Olympics ended today, and Ryan’s 200IM world record still stands. All of Phelps world records are now dust lol.

Thank goodness! I love both Ryan and Phelps. I am happyhis record still stands bc this was a lame Olympics-not the athletes-the bs trans- anti Christian themes. I did not watch a single event😢I will maybe watch some of the clips. It’s sad bc I didn’t want to support the networks etc.

Bravo! I love hearing him revisit his childhood goals and express his pride on his fantastic accomplishments. I love that he is honest about his pride rather than being reserved and cautiously ‘coy’.

Finally had a chance to listen to the full episode. Well done Kyle on the interview!
Lochte is my favorite Olympian and swimmer and was a huge inspiration to me while I was in age group.
The "Lochtegate" reminds me of a photo I saw a long time ago that has borders inside of it representing what you can see. The most zoomed in photo shows something horrible happening. The next layer out shows a tv crew filming it. The next layer out shows that the tv crew were selectively leaving out context that changes everything. And as the photo expands to each border, more and more context appears. And by the end, you have a clear photo, but had you only gone off of what the zoomed in photo showed you, you would've been mislead.
    Lochte is the Man!
    F the media.

What a great interview! I've always been a fan. I remember when I saw him at a meet back when I was swimming, I think it was the US open maybe in late 90s or early 2000's before he was famous, I was like this dude is gonna be special and I've been following his career ever since. I'm so glad I got to see this interview and he set the record straight about 2016. Ryan, you represented our country so well throughout the years, don't let anyone get you down!

Love that you got to see him in person doing what he does best - SWIM FAST!
I was also glad he cleared up his side of the story behind 2016 - makes you rethink a lot about the media for sure.

I don’t think so. He just seems very excited and happy about his new life-being a husband, a father, and becoming an entrepreneur. He discovered something new beyond swimming and realized he has potential in other fields. He’s actively promoting these ventures, which shows growth and enthusiasm rather than narcissism.
