Man oh man! I wish I would’ve seen your video before I put mine in the crockpot before I canned them up! I couldn’t find a recipe that was about canning ribs with bone in! I will definitely try it your way! Thanks for sharing!
I first tried this a few months ago and only did 90 minutes. They turned out great! I always just add a little salt and pepper. Whichever I end up using them, they've got to be seasoned, and I like it when the seasoning is deep into the meat instead of just sprinkled on top. They are GREAT to have in the pantry! It's certainly nice to have a rib dinner on the table in 15 minutes! Cover with barbecue sauce (or Chinese plum sauce!) and broil till hot and bubbly. 😊
I tried one jar of these. I wish I had done more but everyone said I shouldn't. They were wonderful. I just bought a few more racks today and will be canning all of them. Nice video. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for watching. You can add salt if you want, it actually has no value in the canning process but is used for flavoring. 1 Teaspoon per quart, 1/2 teaspoon per pint; or more if you are like Evie and like your pork more salty 😁
I love using the instant pot to cook ribs. These you just canned would probably have the same texture. Have you tried adding some bbq sauce to the bottle before canning ?
Thanks for watching! I use the meat in different ways so I usually add the bbq as I heat it up. I rarely add spices, sauces and such to meat when canning; It allows me to be more versatile with my meal preparations.
@@trailsendsixty-two8932 I love your channel. I’ve utilized a couple of your recipes & see more to try. Yes, I see that versatility is key for whatever you decide to add in that moment. Thanks for a great channel!
My apologies; I try to respond to all comments but for some reason your comment did not show up on my notifications. It was just chance that I saw a list of unanswered comments on the analytics page, which I never go to. So; you're welcome! and Thank you for watching, I really do appreciate it.
Exactly the reason I can meat. You can add any or all of those to your meat when canning. I do if I am canning for a specific use of the meat, but this way I can season it however needed when heating it up to serve. Thanks for watching!
@@trailsendsixty-two8932 Great, that makes perfect sense. I hadn't considered that. Kind of like having cooked hamburger, you can spice it up just how you like for any dish.
Prepped our Adobo Baby back ribs and followed the Jedi master teaching, hopefully your students get an 'A+' 😅
See we shall padawan! 😁

No herbs, no salt, no pepper, no garlic? Well it looks like a good way to preserve your meat with out any refrigeration or freezing.
