Cute Video! Loved the Bear Hat! Lilly's a gem! We are DVC Members and while everything at Disney seems to cost a small fortune nowadays, it's nice to be reminded of the "Free" but still fun things. And realistically, there is alot to do outside of the parks that is lower cost than going into the parks as well.
Thank you for your comment, Wendi. We actually got the idea for the video before we were passholders. We live in the Orlando area so we would go to Disney Springs (then, Downtown Disney) and one day we walked over to the boat launch area on the north side. We didn't realize we could take the boat over to Port Orleans without staying at the resort, and once we learned that, the whole concept of wandering around the complex was born. We knew a lot of people didn't know about it, so we decided to make the video. Since then we've bumped into all kinds of families who normally couldn't afford to get into the parks who were amazed at what you could do to explore around the margins of Disney. Karen, had we not started the RV gig, we may have continued with the Ginger Disney Guide shtick as the basis of our channel. But fate intervened . . .
