You can look and ask any teammate Kyrie’s ever had and nearly every single one has gone out of their way to speak glowingly about him as a friend and teammate. He’s been on the biggest stages and performed at an elite level. I’m willing to bank on this being one hell of a run this team will be going on here when Luka’s back. Don’t sleep.
No one.. nobody.. not even one single living soul have doubts about kyrie's talent. Everyone loves the athlete. The magic is there, he was born with it. That´s not my point. I am worried about Luca Doncic. He needed a star player to play with him. Kyrie IS a star. But kyrie has a lot of problems in his head. At some point he will reveal himself once again.. I would prefer to see Luca with someone more reliable..

Nets fan here. It’s not his beliefs. We had a problem with. It’s the lack of accountability that he won’t accept that comes with the way that he wants to “ express” those beliefs. Mavs will join the Kyrie disappointment train soon.
Dallas made it all the way to the western conference finals last year luka is a beast this is an upgrade for kyrie I actually think it’s a better move than LA right now
Dallas is going to love him and he's going to love Dallas because all he can do is work and focus on he and the team improving; the Cowboys are the talk of the town but the Mavericks are the comfort that brings the enjoyment.... Trust me, this will work out because you have a coaching staff that is understanding of the positions both their star players are in and also Kyrie has played with superstars and done his job well so the adjustment is there -- this is a Western Conference Finalist team so they should improve.

To the 'concerned ones' claiming Kyrie won't get his shots and get disgruntled somehow. Man's very capable of putting 12 shots in 12 minutes alone when's Luka's of the court, if need be, and still be effective in very high usage.

@I am Groot! this press conference was due to his trade. I watched his press on the incidents. I, as a viewer, didn't come here for this, I came for the excitement of the trade deal and the potential. I don't understand the need to ask these questions more than once. The intent behind it is to destroy the moment for the guy with something that is past him. He actually showed them respect and answered the questions, I would have left it at no comment and showed my enthusiasm about where I am and how excited I am.

Media owes Kyrie a tremendous apology. They created a false narrative, used it to try to destroy him, and they let it get way out of control. Media exposed their latent bigotry, but Black America stands with Kyrie. We pray for him and we will always have his back!

i didn’t follow that whole vaccination drama, but when that h2n post issue came out, the media (fridel) very politely asked him questions about it. it gotten much worse because of kyrie’s reaction and answers. he puts himself in these situations, no one else does it for him. it’s always something with him… i don’t know of any other nba player with that many controversial issues

The nets were not willing to give him a contract because he missed games, I don’t know what they promised him but glad he got out there hopefully the lakers get him paid in the off season.
Oh it was more than missed games. He did manage to play in a few more than he missed I wonder how many of us would still have a 'career' if we took a big salary offer then spent 3 years showing up about half the time. I know he was injured for some of that... but he wasn't for much of it.

Until now all teams double Luka as they were not able to stop him... imagine now you play against Mavs and you double Luka to stop him and he pass ball to Kyrie who has 4 on 3 defenders play... UNSTOPABLE!!!! I would not be surprised at all if we see 100 points combined in one game from Luka and Kyrie and MAvs score 140+ points... Luka and Kyrie just want to play basketball and they want to win championships... if things connect ok and Mavs build smart around those two they are unstopable for next 3-4 years. I think chance for this is around 30%...

Luka is the closest thing to Lebron; even Lebron said it himself. In Boston Kyrie was too small and they wanted him to play more of a system game, relying on defensive. In Brooklyn they had no system and it was just a mess. In Dallas it’s offensive minded and sharing the ball. That’s exactly where Kyrie thrives. He’s not going to be pressured to be something he’s not. I can see him winning a chip with Luka just like he did with Lebron. Easy.
