    Is it just me or is anyone else find it extremely annoying when Bill interrupts when someone with insight is talking just to inject with "a friend story". Let the man speak.

    Depression takes away your ability to make good choices, at a time when you need it most. Call the people who would be devastated if you harmed yourself and tell them how you are feeling. Reach out for help!

      @@nickbarcheck1019 I am an agnostic with no therapist and I'm not depressed. I have seen Bill ask several people why they think they need therapy and he definitely seems like someone who is not understanding at the least. He needs to stop doing that to people.

    I am bipolar as well. I've attempted suicide a number of times in my life and not because of a chemical imbalance bit because I knew how shitty my life was and was going to be. Now, after having massive heart failure in late 2017 where I was a corpse for 13 minutes, I crossed over and came back with more knowledge than the entire human race could even begin to comprehend. I now know that I have no say in when and how I die. That is solely the decision of God. My life still sucks but I'm at peace with it.
    Btw, Alan Ritchson is to fucking die for!

    I wonder how much of what Alan said could have been true about Robin Williams.

    • @Levelon
      @Levelon 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think with Robin, while im sure he struggled with depression, was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia (LBD) before he died. I think he probably just made a brash decision to go out on his own terms instead of a slow cognitive decline that could have burdened his family. I think it was short sighted but I can understand it to a degree.

    Bill- you are family. Genetics are strong! You look a lot like my husband’s uncle, Dean. I have mentioned this before a while ago. It still blows my mind how much you resemble each other. Same voice too.

  • @carrieon1
    @carrieon1 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Doesn't Bill, as an atheist, believe that religion is only in a person's mind? So, why would relying on a made-up inner voice be any kind of therapy? It's basically telling oneself what they want to hear, or what they believe a religious figure would say. A psychologist, therapist, or psychiatrist is an actual, audible voice from a human being.

    • @Levelon
      @Levelon 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You need to seek professional help if youre in that situation. However, its hard to care enough to see someone about fixing things when you're so depressed that you cant see the worth in the world or existing relationships around you. Doesnt feel worth it, rather just spiral since through a depressed person's eyes, nothing matters anyway.

      What does that have to do with anything? Being diagnosed with ADHD is really helpful for people who have it. They don't say it as a disability for attention, but its incredibly helpful to have the mental tools to work around it successfully. I struggled with it a lot in youth and didn't get diagnosed. I even thought I might have it but didn't want the stigma of a diagnosis. I ended up getting diagnosed much later in life as an adult. Luckily by then I was already using some coping mechanisms that I was lucky to figure out when I was younger to be successful in the world but after getting diagnosed it absolutely helped things click and put me in a place to offer advice to other people who went undiagnosed too. It effects how you learn, how you work, and in my eyes awards a lot of strengths in addition to shortcomings.
