There will always be haters. We get the same comments about our UK home, even some thinking we're in an apartment after watching 1, 3 minute video! We're also in a semi-detached, a 3 story house with 4 bedrooms, and a conservatory with the second largest garden in the street. I think a lot of the small house/garden comments come from people that let their dog entertain themselves and don't walk them every day, so they think they need more room inside to exercise. It would be nice to have an American sized home, but sadly the UK doesn't have the luxury of that much land per house and big houses are more expensive here. I've had comments about Key being over weight for a husky, but he's also part malamute. One of the silliest comments we get is about Key being hot because he's panting in some videos, they don't seem to realise dogs pant when they've just been exercising. He's definitely not hot when it's only 7c, haha.
Key is a sweetheart. Most of the hate comments on videos like this are ridiculous. Key is probably one of the best taken care of dogs I've seen, so keep doing what you're doing. Love your channel.

I have been following you for years because I am owner of malamute, husky and now Moscow watchdog. Your explanations were very useful for those who do not have dogs or are not familiar with malamutes. During you last video you touched important issue talking about Niko. Malamutes are friendly to people but not to other dogs. And it causes problems. When we watch your videos its seems ideal world of love but its different when you go out and meet other dogs. I think it would be useful if you could explain to people this issue that it can become a problem or just difficulty to handle situation at home. Our malamute is like Niko, he loves me, family and husky (female) but not any male dog around him. When we bought malamute we had already Bernese mountain dog. But unfortunately they did not get along with each other. And since that day we have to separate male dogs all the time in our house. I think this is very important to know before you take malamute together with some other male dog. We were aware that such thing could happen but did not pay so serious attention. We love our dogs, even took other male dog when Bernese passed away because we are used to such situation and we have infrastructure for that and also our life style can afford that but not everybody does. I still admire you to have 2 malamutes and carpets:). Love your videos! Good luck.

I think the primary reason for the "hate" comments is jealousy. not necessarily because of your house or the dogs, but because you and Shane are a beautiful couple. And in order to make you feel bad about your attractiveness, they try to instill guilt in you by criticising your dogs' weight and your voice. Envy is the root of hatred. People on internet get worked up about silly things, often with half knowledge. They are lovely couple. But I don't think think that is the reason for hate comments
It really makes me sad to see that you even feel you need to justify your home, your voice, or your love for your babies. I guess there will always be those who feel they need to judge, and thats very different from constructive suggestions. It's very easy to sit back and make a negative comment from time to time, but I don't see them sharing their lives on camera with their families and putting themselves out there for critical judgement. Constructive and helpful comments are always good to share. So maybe instead of just making negative statements they should offer helpful ideas that could be implemented. I know I learn daily from reading, watching videos and talking to other pet owners and trying new ideas. Some work some don't, its all a learning process. The rest of the "hate comments" are just ridiculous and uncalled for. Your home is beautiful,. your voice is charming.. and its more than OBVIOUS you love your fur babies. Even with children... they all have different needs and you adapt to each one. That being said... You all just keep doing what you are doing. Weight loss is hard for animals as well as humans so just keep working toward the goals:) it doesn't happen overnight. I enjoy each of your videos. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

Happy to see this video! I live in New England, and people would always call my beloved Malamute(RIP) a husky. People (mostly men) have made disparaging comments about my voice, because it's more in the range of Cher, lower with a natural vocal fry. 🙄 I love that you get monetary compensation regardless of the nature of the comments! Being able to watch your babies has helped me and my kids deal with our malamute's death five years ago, and the fact that we can't have pets in our apartment. If we ever get the money, I would love to do your Airbnb! You guys are great! 🐺💖😺
I watched your channel for several days now whenever I had a moment of time to do so. You and your dogs as well as Milo are an AWESOME "pack". There is so much trust and it's so obvious and visible. There will always be haters who need to project their own negativity on anyone or anything - some are just hoping for attention (even if negative one), some are for sure simply jealous about what you guys actually have: That absolutely wonderful, stunning and very obvious wonderful bond with Phil, Niko and Milo. To quote a very truthful Taylor Swift: "Haters gonna hate. Just shake it off." From my personal point of view ( And I had dogs for most of time of my nearly 45 years) you are doing great and so do your "pack members". Love your channel, your social media too, trolls/haters are always going to be around unfortunately as they obviously have nothing better to do than try & bring people down to their horrible level. 1st) I thought Phil and Niko are Giant Alaskan Malamute....look that one up. 2nd ) You can tell both Phil and Niko are very much loved. 3rd ) Milo is a very special cat...you can tell he loves hanging out with his family including his animal family. I'm in shock too as I see some fellow comments down below agree with me as well that this channel of ALL youtube channels gets any hate now that IS hard to believe. I find this to be the most wholesome enjoyable pet and family channel I've came across so far!! The dogs are great and equally loved, they've obviously got different personalities, that goes for the kitty cat Milo too. Their home is perfectly adequate for all their pets and children and also in their defense (I had a Weim in a duplex apartment for years successfully) they understand how the breed breed plenty of long walks, if you watch and listen the weekend walks alone are superb. Mind boggled but yes, they're will always be haters pay them no mind.

I love people who tell pet owners their home is “too small.” You guys take your babies everywhere. I have an 800 square foot apartment but I do NOT leave my house and go in my car without my dog. He goes everywhere I go and I do not vacation if I cannot take my dog with me. People who claim a home is too small are people who don’t take their pets out for walks and strictly keep them mostly inside. If you have a dog and you take them everywhere, you can live in a box. The home is basically for sleeping and all activities happen outside, which gives them more of a life than living inside. You guys are amazing and so are your babies...you can tell them are so loved and included and you give them such an amazing life! Thank you for the awesome videos. I found your channel last week and am loving it! Your baby girl is just adorable, that smile just lights up her face. I love malamutes and find your videos to be very fun and relaxing during this stressful time. I cheered out loud earlier when i saw Phil step into the bathtub lol. I have a solid black maine coon named Lydia and she loves to run off if given the chance so I also walk her on a leash even in the yard. I say good job for keeping Milo on a leash to keep him safe. Maya likes her space. They have their own bedroom but they do roam around the whole house while I'm at home. Haters are everywhere. I live in a really big "America" house with my wife, 2 Mal's (Willow 3yrs female and Aspen 1yr male) and a very persnickety tortie cat. (Bunny 11yrs female) Usually the whole lot of us can be found in the TV room chilling out, wrestling, or having a bite to eat. So out with the tiny house nonsense. Our favorite pet? That depends on which dog is misbehaving the most at the moment. So out with the playing favorites nonsense. Willow is a bit more affectionate than Aspen...that is just their personalities. Feeding a northern breed dog is always a challenge. They were never intended to be a "house pet" that eats packaged processed food so their weight and digestion issues can be a huge pain in the a**. Sometimes they get overweight, sometimes you have to beg them to eat. (Our vet and his accountant love us) We all (except Bunny) enjoy your channel and look forward to all your new videos. Let the haters be haters and feel bad for them because they may never understand the love we share with these wonderful, beautiful, annoying animals.
Mark Price I laughed when she turned the camera to reveal their completely normal-sized, if not larger than the average, house. I’m just wondering what these commenters consider a normal house or a house “big enough” for Malamutes. It’s not like they’re trying to are provide a home for Cerberus or Cujo. A house this size is more than enough for two large dogs and a cat. I’ve seen people in Chicago who own large dog breeds that live in apartments 1/4 the size of this, and have to walk their dogs on crowded streets and in smaller parks around other dogs. Phil and Niko are very lucky they not only have that house, but get to go on exciting nature hikes where they have unlimited space to roam.

Social media is full of haters, ignorant, unhappy and mean people. But, there are also lovely, kind people, and those with great hearts. Someone told me one time to have a filter, and be able to sift other's words through it so that only the sensical ones pass through to our gray matter. I can understand logical questions, and with your fairly prolific presence on TH-cam, viewers are going to be curious, and may not filter what they're asking or commenting on. Your entire family is adorable. I grew up with a lot of different pets and loving them came early in my life, and my daughter loves animals so much she became a veterinarian and has a lovely family. You and your husband are great parents, and I have really become mesmerized by your videos. Thank you for spreading so much love and kindness to all critters who don't have a voice, yet steal our hearts in such magical ways.❤ P.S. Your home is perfection.
Hearing that people make negative comments about you and your pets makes me very very sad...luckily watching anything with your pets is guaranteed to cheer me up. :) While some people might not be able to see it (or choose not to), it is abundantly clear in all your videos how well cared-for and how well loved Phil, Niko, and Milo are. All the places they go and the experiences they share with you, and the constant attention you give to their well-being. I mean honestly, how could anyone see the expressions on the dogs' faces and not think that they have happy, wonderful lives? I'm looking forward to much more adorable fluffy antics in the future.

I rescue northern breeds and currently own three huskies and four cats. I absolutely love your instagram. You are very active and take the dogs on walks and ensure that you give them the exercise they need. Have you had them checked for thyroids? My male gained a lot of weight after I had him neutered and I found out he had thyroids. He’s on medication now and has lot about 15lbs. Just a thought. A far as hate comments, don’t mind them... You have two gorgeous dogs that are happy and a beautiful cat that you can see adores being a part of the pack.
I love your channel. Niko and Phil as well as Milo are absolutely gorgeous. They are all well loved and that's more important than the size of your home. They have outdoor space to roam in and that's just as important. I have a big dog too. He's Malamute, German Shepard and Mastiff -this combination of breeds are called Chinooks and they're not very common. Ignore the negative comments from other people. As long as your pets are happy then that's all that matters. In regards to personal comments about you, just ignore those too. I love your voice and especially your accent. This is such an amazing channel with such an amazing couple and amazing dogs and cat and now with baby Mia it’s a complete picture. I live in Central Oregon in the US and there are plenty of places that are small and yet I want to say what business is it of theirs. I used to have a malamute and she was very happy. I have a small yard and I live in the US. It was big enough for her though she got lots of exercise and I fashioned a sled like contraption and I put stuff on it and let her pull it. She loved that also. Yes my female was very territorial. She didn't tolerate strange dogs in her yard or walking down her sidewalk, lol. Yes they are a little over weight but that happens sometimes, and all you can do is strive to keep them at a good weight. I love to see how much you guys love your fur babies. Anyone who wants to insinuate you are not doing right by your babies should go and volunteer at the humane society or any such organization and really help animals who need saving. Keep up the lovely vids. I so enjoy watching them.

As an American Id like to apologize for the judgmental comments about the size of your home. From what I’ve seen y’all have more than enough space to accommodate these beautiful babies&even if you maybe didn’t have a 3 bedroom house,as long as you were giving them enough exercise&taking them out daily or even multiple times a day that’s more than sufficient for them to be happy&healthy. I have seen/known of people who treat their fur babies like objects that are for work only and don’t require or even want love&affection-in some cases they’re treated as if they couldn’t possibly know what they want&aren’t capable of feeling emotions like we do. So in my eyes, the amount of genuine love&affection y’all constantly shower on these babies is awesome,heartwarming and the way that I believe every living being should be treated. The fact that anyone thinks they can know what happens after you shut off the camera is mind boggling to me. Or the fact that they thought they had the right or privilege to judge or share their opinion on your voice, Milo being on a leash(which is the best thing for Milo’s enrichment&his safety), the weight of your dogs just shows a certain level of arrogance and entitlement that some people have. So yeah, I just wanted to try and let y’all know that we’re not all like that&especially nowadays with Trump&the establishment/corporate Republicans&Democrats absolutely trashing whatever semblance of good standing Americans had in the eyes of the rest of the people on this planet-it’s more important than ever that those of us with open hearts&minds need to be louder than the worst amongst us.
I have a male Siamese cat that I keep on a leash and harness when he is outside. He was previously an outdoor cat that roamed the neighbourhood (before he came to live at my house in a different city). Now he is a mostly inside cat who only goes outside when on a leash and now while being supervised. This is because I live adjacent to a busy road (don’t want him run over. And he now only goes outside when I can be outside with him. Because last summer there was a cougar with 4 youngsters roaming our city area. My cat and I actually had a very close encounter with the mama cougar - one foot away and only separated by a three foot fence. Fortunately she already had a large rabbit in her mouth (larger than my cat) and was carrying it down my back alley looking for a quiet place to eat it. Scared the heck out of me! So no more outside excursions for my boy without me being there too! My handsome boy loves sitting outside and all the children and walkers know his name and stop to visit with him. I laugh and say that he must have been a Walmart greeter in a previous life. He is so friendly and loves everyone - kids, dogs, adults. He is always ready to make friends! 😻
I live In the US and not everyone has a really big home. We have a 1700 SF and a big backyard with lots of trees and we are lucky but the most important thing is you love your pet children and family! Clearly you do and you are not shrill, you have a lovely voice. Love all your pets!

Hello from Texas! Doll, your dogs make my day! I had a terrible morning but I came across life with Malamutes and I've watched it all day long! Seriously, my day went to crap at about 8AM and it's now 6:45 and I'm still watching! I think you guys are going absolutely fine! It's very clear that the dogs are happy and that matters a bunch. If they needed more space, they would be hard to control and tearing everything up and acting out. I agree with keeping your cat on a lead. I hate it when people let there cats run wild. It's actually against the law but absolutely nobody enforces it. I hope to see more videos of your beautiful family!

Ignore the hate. Love your videos. They're great. Love Phil, Niko and Milo equally. Most of the questions were explained in previous videos like you said. I'm from the 🇺🇸. I live N.Y. A lot of residential homes in the city and suburbs are either your size or smaller. Homeowners in my state have an average of 2 dogs. Some of them are snow-dogs-- ignore the complainers. Plus you have the forest behind your house. That's opportunity enough for the malamutes to go walking/running. Here in NY, we don't have access to lot of forestry. Most of us live near parks.

I have an American bull cross in an average 3 bed council house. I used to have a Doberman and a German Shepherd and they allowed me a bit space too. If they get outside space and good walks, which it is obvious you do, the inside space isn’t an issue. I bet the fur babies do leave you a little room on the sofa haha. I love your videos and I think your home is beautiful. You’re a very attractive couple (I’m not jealous at all 😜) and you have a beautiful daughter so all that together will attract some criticism. I’ve been a subscriber for a while and I’m American and I am owned by a long haired cat and a medium sized mixed breed dog...And the negative comments you experience ... I don’t see what those commenters see when I watch your videos. 1. The dogs were a little big, but they weren’t huge. And getting an animal to understand why they are getting less food or different food, etc. is difficult. They can’t understand but you’ve done a great job of managing the weight loss! 🤗😎 2. More love to one or the other dog? Their personalities dictate how much they will accept from you, and the way that attention is conveyed. She may not fully understand why you don’t take her off lead in the park or woods, but she obviously loves you and you love her...that is evident in these videos. Again, I don’t see a problem here. 3. Milo on a lead? I would love to have my cat on a lead and take her for walks, or have her on stations in my yard/garden, but we aren’t there yet. Your three fur babies get along and are in the garden at the same time, etc... I can’t get my cat and dog to knowingly sit next to each other much less anything else...but I digress. Again I don’t see a problem with how you handle your babies. 4. Lastly, your house doesn’t seem small to me at all. And I’ve been told I have a big house by some British and Polish friends. I believe you have the same space as my house, three bedrooms, etc. but my yard/garden is larger, and my house is set wider, rather than deeper on the lot which makes it look bigger. (Not sure if I’m explaining this right) but regardless, your house isn’t tiny in the least. Wow, I’m long winded here. Anyway, I love your videos, and haters will always hate, so ... I can’t wait for your next video!!

I think a lot of the small house/garden comments come from people that let their dog entertain themselves and don't walk them every day, so they think they need more room inside to exercise. It would be nice to have an American sized home, but sadly the UK doesn't have the luxury of that much land per house and big houses are more expensive here. I've had comments about Key being over weight for a husky, but he's also part malamute. One of the silliest comments we get is about Key being hot because he's panting in some videos, they don't seem to realise dogs pant when they've just been exercising. He's definitely not hot when it's only 7c, haha.
Key is a sweetheart. Most of the hate comments on videos like this are ridiculous. Key is probably one of the best taken care of dogs I've seen, so keep doing what you're doing. Love your channel.

I have been following you for years because I am owner of malamute, husky and now Moscow watchdog. Your explanations were very useful for those who do not have dogs or are not familiar with malamutes. During you last video you touched important issue talking about Niko. Malamutes are friendly to people but not to other dogs. And it causes problems. When we watch your videos its seems ideal world of love but its different when you go out and meet other dogs. I think it would be useful if you could explain to people this issue that it can become a problem or just difficulty to handle situation at home. Our malamute is like Niko, he loves me, family and husky (female) but not any male dog around him. When we bought malamute we had already Bernese mountain dog. But unfortunately they did not get along with each other. And since that day we have to separate male dogs all the time in our house. I think this is very important to know before you take malamute together with some other male dog. We were aware that such thing could happen but did not pay so serious attention. We love our dogs, even took other male dog when Bernese passed away because we are used to such situation and we have infrastructure for that and also our life style can afford that but not everybody does.

I think the primary reason for the "hate" comments is jealousy. not necessarily because of your house or the dogs, but because you and Shane are a beautiful couple. And in order to make you feel bad about your attractiveness, they try to instill guilt in you by criticising your dogs' weight and your voice. Envy is the root of hatred. It really makes me sad to see that you even feel you need to justify your home, your voice, or your love for your babies. I guess there will always be those who feel they need to judge, and thats very different from constructive suggestions. It's very easy to sit back and make a negative comment from time to time, but I don't see them sharing their lives on camera with their families and putting themselves out there for critical judgement. Constructive and helpful comments are always good to share. So maybe instead of just making negative statements they should offer helpful ideas that could be implemented. I know I learn daily from reading, watching videos and talking to other pet owners and trying new ideas. Some work some don't, its all a learning process. The rest of the "hate comments" are just ridiculous and uncalled for. Your home is beautiful,. your voice is charming.. and its more than OBVIOUS you love your fur babies. Even with children... they all have different needs and you adapt to each one. That being said... You all just keep doing what you are doing. Weight loss is hard for animals as well as humans so just keep working toward the goals:) it doesn't happen overnight. I enjoy each of your videos. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

Happy to see this video! I live in New England, and people would always call my beloved Malamute(RIP) a husky. People (mostly men) have made disparaging comments about my voice, because it's more in the range of Cher, lower with a natural vocal fry. 🙄 I love that you get monetary compensation regardless of the nature of the comments! Being able to watch your babies has helped me and my kids deal with our malamute's death five years ago, and the fact that we can't have pets in our apartment. If we ever get the money, I would love to do your Airbnb! You guys are great! 🐺💖😺

I watched your channel for several days now whenever I had a moment of time to do so. You and your dogs as well as Milo are an AWESOME "pack". There is so much trust and it's so obvious and visible. There will always be haters who need to project their own negativity on anyone or anything - some are just hoping for attention (even if negative one), some are for sure simply jealous about what you guys actually have: That absolutely wonderful, stunning and very obvious wonderful bond with Phil, Niko and Milo. I'm in shock too as I see some fellow comments down below agree with me as well that this channel of ALL youtube channels gets any hate now that IS hard to believe. I find this to be the most wholesome enjoyable pet and family channel I've came across so far!! The dogs are great and equally loved, they've obviously got different personalities, that goes for the kitty cat Milo too. Their home is perfectly adequate for all their pets and children and also in their defense (I had a Weim in a duplex apartment for years successfully) they understand how the breed breed plenty of long walks, if you watch and listen the weekend walks alone are superb. Mind boggled but yes, they're will always be haters pay them no mind.

I love people who tell pet owners their home is “too small.” You guys take your babies everywhere. I have an 800 square foot apartment but I do NOT leave my house and go in my car without my dog. He goes everywhere I go and I do not vacation if I cannot take my dog with me. People who claim a home is too small are people who don’t take their pets out for walks and strictly keep them mostly inside. If you have a dog and you take them everywhere, you can live in a box. The home is basically for sleeping and all activities happen outside, which gives them more of a life than living inside. You guys are amazing and so are your babies...you can tell them are so loved and included and you give them such an amazing life! Thank you for the awesome videos. I found your channel last week and am loving it! Your baby girl is just adorable, that smile just lights up her face. I love malamutes and find your videos to be very fun and relaxing during this stressful time. I cheered out loud earlier when i saw Phil step into the bathtub lol. I have a solid black maine coon named Lydia and she loves to run off if given the chance so I also walk her on a leash even in the yard. I say good job for keeping Milo on a leash to keep him safe. Haters are everywhere. I live in a really big "America" house with my wife, 2 Mal's (Willow 3yrs female and Aspen 1yr male) and a very persnickety tortie cat. (Bunny 11yrs female) Usually the whole lot of us can be found in the TV room chilling out, wrestling, or having a bite to eat. So out with the tiny house nonsense. Our favorite pet? That depends on which dog is misbehaving the most at the moment. So out with the playing favorites nonsense. Willow is a bit more affectionate than Aspen...that is just their personalities. Feeding a northern breed dog is always a challenge. They were never intended to be a "house pet" that eats packaged processed food so their weight and digestion issues can be a huge pain in the a**. Sometimes they get overweight, sometimes you have to beg them to eat. (Our vet and his accountant love us)
We all (except Bunny) enjoy your channel and look forward to all your new videos. Let the haters be haters and feel bad for them because they may never understand the love we share with these wonderful, beautiful, annoying animals.
Mark Price I laughed when she turned the camera to reveal their completely normal-sized, if not larger than the average, house. I’m just wondering what these commenters consider a normal house or a house “big enough” for Malamutes. It’s not like they’re trying to are provide a home for Cerberus or Cujo. A house this size is more than enough for two large dogs and a cat. I’ve seen people in Chicago who own large dog breeds that live in apartments 1/4 the size of this, and have to walk their dogs on crowded streets and in smaller parks around other dogs. Phil and Niko are very lucky they not only have that house, but get to go on exciting nature hikes where they have unlimited space to roam.

Someone told me one time to have a filter, and be able to sift other's words through it so that only the sensical ones pass through to our gray matter. I can understand logical questions, and with your fairly prolific presence on TH-cam, viewers are going to be curious, and may not filter what they're asking or commenting on.
Your entire family is adorable. I grew up with a lot of different pets and loving them came early in my life, and my daughter loves animals so much she became a veterinarian and has a lovely family. All the places they go and the experiences they share with you, and the constant attention you give to their well-being. I rescue northern breeds and currently own three huskies and four cats. I absolutely love your instagram. You are very active and take the dogs on walks and ensure that you give them the exercise they need. Have you had them checked for thyroids? My male gained a lot of weight after I had him neutered and I found out he had thyroids. He’s on medication now and has lot about 15lbs. Just a thought. A far as hate comments, don’t mind them... You have two gorgeous dogs that are happy and a beautiful cat that you can see adores being a part of the pack.
yeah three times by two different vets we were so sure he had it he was showing lots of key symptoms and then we tested for diabetes all negative x
I love your channel. Niko and Phil as well as Milo are absolutely gorgeous. They are all well loved and that's more important than the size of your home. They have outdoor space to roam in and that's just as important. I have a big dog too. He's Malamute, German Shepard and Mastiff -this combination of breeds are called Chinooks and they're not very common. Ignore the negative comments from other people. As long as your pets are happy then that's all that matters. In regards to personal comments about you, just ignore those too. I love your voice and especially your accent. This is such an amazing channel with such an amazing couple and amazing dogs and cat and now with baby Mia it’s a complete picture. I used to have a malamute and she was very happy. I have a small yard and I live in the US. It was big enough for her though she got lots of exercise and I fashioned a sled like contraption and I put stuff on it and let her pull it. She loved that also. Yes my female was very territorial. She didn't tolerate strange dogs in her yard or walking down her sidewalk, lol. Yes they are a little over weight but that happens sometimes, and all you can do is strive to keep them at a good weight. I love to see how much you guys love your fur babies. Anyone who wants to insinuate you are not doing right by your babies should go and volunteer at the humane society or any such organization and really help animals who need saving. Keep up the lovely vids. I so enjoy watching them.

As an American Id like to apologize for the judgmental comments about the size of your home. From what I’ve seen y’all have more than enough space to accommodate these beautiful babies&even if you maybe didn’t have a 3 bedroom house,as long as you were giving them enough exercise&taking them out daily or even multiple times a day that’s more than sufficient for them to be happy&healthy. I have seen/known of people who treat their fur babies like objects that are for work only and don’t require or even want love&affection-in some cases they’re treated as if they couldn’t possibly know what they want&aren’t capable of feeling emotions like we do. So in my eyes, the amount of genuine love&affection y’all constantly shower on these babies is awesome,heartwarming and the way that I believe every living being should be treated. The fact that anyone thinks they can know what happens after you shut off the camera is mind boggling to me. Or the fact that they thought they had the right or privilege to judge or share their opinion on your voice, Milo being on a leash(which is the best thing for Milo’s enrichment&his safety), the weight of your dogs just shows a certain level of arrogance and entitlement that some people have. So yeah, I just wanted to try and let y’all know that we’re not all like that&especially nowadays with Trump&the establishment/corporate Republicans&Democrats absolutely trashing whatever semblance of good standing Americans had in the eyes of the rest of the people on this planet-it’s more important than ever that those of us with open hearts&minds need to be louder than the worst amongst us.

I have a male Siamese cat that I keep on a leash and harness when he is outside. He was previously an outdoor cat that roamed the neighbourhood (before he came to live at my house in a different city). Now he is a mostly inside cat who only goes outside when on a leash and now while being supervised. This is because I live adjacent to a busy road (don’t want him run over. And he now only goes outside when I can be outside with him. Because last summer there was a cougar with 4 youngsters roaming our city area. My cat and I actually had a very close encounter with the mama cougar - one foot away and only separated by a three foot fence. Fortunately she already had a large rabbit in her mouth (larger than my cat) and was carrying it down my back alley looking for a quiet place to eat it. Scared the heck out of me! So no more outside excursions for my boy without me being there too!
My handsome boy loves sitting outside and all the children and walkers know his name and stop to visit with him. I laugh and say that he must have been a Walmart greeter in a previous life. He is so friendly and loves everyone - kids, dogs, adults. He is always ready to make friends! 😻

Hello from Texas! Doll, your dogs make my day! I had a terrible morning but I came across life with Malamutes and I've watched it all day long! Seriously, my day went to crap at about 8AM and it's now 6:45 and I'm still watching! I think you guys are going absolutely fine! It's very clear that the dogs are happy and that matters a bunch. If they needed more space, they would be hard to control and tearing everything up and acting out. I agree with keeping your cat on a lead. I hate it when people let there cats run wild. It's actually against the law but absolutely nobody enforces it.

P.S. if our cats are outside, they have their harness and Long Leash on them so they don't get out of our fenced-in yard. Especially if our dogs are out there with them.
Your house is very nice and good size for them. We can all see how much you and your husband love them very much. You go home for lunch to see them and let them out to potty. We do that too❤❤

Ignore the hate. Love your videos. They're great. Love Phil, Niko and Milo equally. Most of the questions were explained in previous videos like you said. I'm from the 🇺🇸. I live N.Y. A lot of residential homes in the city and suburbs are either your size or smaller. Homeowners in my state have an average of 2 dogs. Some of them are snow-dogs-- ignore the complainers. Plus you have the forest behind your house. That's opportunity enough for the malamutes to go walking/running. Here in NY, we don't have access to lot of forestry. Most of us live near parks.

I love that you share your life, framed around your lovely dogs, with the world. I can't have a dog as I'd find it too overwhelming but I love them. Watching channels like yours means I can enjoy the day-to-day of life with dogs. I appreciate the effort you put into the channel and can only thank you for that.

I have an American bull cross in an average 3 bed council house. I used to have a Doberman and a German Shepherd and they allowed me a bit space too. If they get outside space and good walks, which it is obvious you do, the inside space isn’t an issue. I bet the fur babies do leave you a little room on the sofa haha. I love your videos and I think your home is beautiful. You’re a very attractive couple (I’m not jealous at all 😜) and you have a beautiful daughter so all that together will attract some criticism. Keep doing what you do and showing us your lovely and slightly chaotic life 🤣❤️

I personally like Nicko and Phill equally. I think many people do. They both are gorgeous and gentle and fluffy.
I’ve been a subscriber for a while and I’m American and I am owned by a long haired cat and a medium sized mixed breed dog...And the negative comments you experience ... I don’t see what those commenters see when I watch your videos.
1. The dogs were a little big, but they weren’t huge. And getting an animal to understand why they are getting less food or different food, etc. is difficult. They can’t understand but you’ve done a great job of managing the weight loss! 🤗😎
2. More love to one or the other dog? Their personalities dictate how much they will accept from you, and the way that attention is conveyed. She may not fully understand why you don’t take her off lead in the park or woods, but she obviously loves you and you love her...that is evident in these videos. Again, I don’t see a problem here.
3. Milo on a lead? I would love to have my cat on a lead and take her for walks, or have her on stations in my yard/garden, but we aren’t there yet. Your three fur babies get along and are in the garden at the same time, etc... I can’t get my cat and dog to knowingly sit next to each other much less anything else...but I digress. Again I don’t see a problem with how you handle your babies.
4. Lastly, your house doesn’t seem small to me at all. And I’ve been told I have a big house by some British and Polish friends. I believe you have the same space as my house, three bedrooms, etc. but my yard/garden is larger, and my house is set wider, rather than deeper on the lot which makes it look bigger. (Not sure if I’m explaining this right) but regardless, your house isn’t tiny in the least.
