Every time there is a comparison with a real professional camera, you realise that smartphones are not close. Even though they may appear to be close, and may even have a better dynamic range, and may be "technically" better, they are not better. A professional camera creates a different atmosphere; real depth, and effortless detail.
@keithbajracharya8875 Yes. With the current technological branch they reached the the top. That's why there is barely any improvement, and I'm not a big fan of using "AI" to create fake images, like the Chinese flagships like to do.
Samsung has consistently impressed me with the exceptional quality and vibrancy of its photos and videos, and this comparison further solidifies its position as a leader in smartphone photography. While I felt that the shot featuring the chandelier fell slightly short of the high standard set by Samsung, every other image and video outshone its counterpart from the iPhone. The level of detail, color accuracy, and dynamic range demonstrated by Samsung is truly remarkable. In my view, Samsung remains unparalleled as the best all-rounder in the smartphone industry, delivering outstanding performance across various scenarios and proving itself as a superior choice for those who value top-tier multimedia capabilities 🗿❤️
Samsung does not do much processing on the image. It does not have a problem with the contrast being lower, but better than the unreal details in the iPhone. I do not like Apple’s approach in the last two years in processing images. As for the video aspect, the iPhone excels by a slight margin, and not in all circumstances
Please Techmo, keep yourself true to reality, independent and as technically based as possible. Your channel is the only place i actually trust nowadays. Comparing chips, photography, battery range etc. I feel like everyone else is a sold shill, too afraid of making real criticisms. This is why your channel is growing.
As a guy who edits phone pictures alot for instagram, i feel like Samsung puts the best hardware but in the end they commit a few grotesque photographic mistakes with the post processing that can break the deal for me. (Which they can correct rather easily for future phones) Over saturation, excessive shadow lifting and over sharpening. I've compared the iPhone 16 PM with the entire S24 line, and even added my old S9+ into the mix and the differences are surprising: Samsung was truer to source back then and the way they boost dark areas and grains small details sometimes render their shots worthless for a quality editing later. Its insane how hard they deviate from reality sometimes to make things pop for a better wow factor. They need to start thinking a little more like Sony in this department, which simply try to be as neutral as possible, that generates way better pics for edits.
The truth is that this 90% users doesn't have time to edit their photo and those samsung photos fill those gaps. As it's ready to post , that's why log on iphone didn't increase the sell as most users are not professional photographers to use the feature. And any professional photographers already have camera . Please let samsung keep their photos pop as that's why when I take photos at occasions everyone want me to send them the photos I took. They just want nicer looking photo and this days samsung did great at keeping true to life colors.
@@esoghumedominic13 Dude, once i took a picture of a dark red object (Rosso Fiorano color) in a lit showroom and the S24U "corrected" it to a screaming rose red. It was simply the wrong color, i had to take the picture with an iphone 16pm to import it. Making a nice looking photo doesn't mean that you need to exagerate the saturation so hard, also, the grain added given to over-sharpening doesn't make it "pop" for the more average user, its just a side-effect for something that doesn't help at all. And it doesn't even make sense: Why do you even have the 200MP mode that generates extremely large file sizes? to make larger prints/screens of corse! Then you actually enlarge it and it is grainy as fuck on the exagerated dark areas rendering the large file size still inadequate for such intended use case. Anyways.. Ok, in case you like that, there should at least an option to turn corrections away, which doesn't happen even in the pro mode. Don't get me wrong, I like Samsung and i own multiple Samsung devices but its true that they are losing their identity pursuing the quest of copying apple in whatever they do. Samsung must get back doing their own thing.
@Lucas-ck1po i like how you point all this just toward only brand that still offer more . No phone gives accurate colors to your eyes, it's just a preference, with samsung turn down or off scene optimization and you get photo straight to what you see or can use pro mode to get exactly what you want. 200mp is for more details and processing is what create noise depending on the main focus point. Sony looks like pixel
Absolutely loved this video but I need to make sure you know that sometimes the iPhone doesn't use it telephoto lens when you do a 5x zoom. Sometimes it crops in 5 times from the main sensor. Just needed to be sure you knew about that so you can always make sure it's using its telephoto lens before you take a telephoto shot
So iphone sometimes forget it has telephoto lens . Thanks for this information 😅
