The problem that I see from my studies and experience once saved always saved is spot-on accurate the question is who got really saved because it's more than just repeat after me these words and you're saved I'm sorry but it's with all the heart all of the soul, mind and strength that we seek this forgiveness.. the gift of salvation because it is to be considered of no lesser importance therefore when you receive after Desiring on this level THEN you have indeed received and then I think it's Ephesians that says "the Holy Spirit seals you until the day of redemption." therefore you cannot be plucked out of his hand and if you're in his hand you're also in the father's hand and nothing can certainly pluck you from his.

There will be a metaphorical “fire” that burns inside you. To know the Lord Jesus Christ. Will you begin to truest hate your sin. Want to resist your sinfulness. You will feel guilt over your sinfulness. An inner desire to obey the Lord our God will ignite in your depths. Read God’s commandments to us, understand that breaking those comes a payment of eternal death. Know that Christ has bought and paid for the believers sins and that when you trust in His promise you will know you are saved. Held in the Hand of God and Sealed by the Son and sanctified by the Spirit. Saved in a moment and sanctified for our entire earthly life. May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Oops! That Lawson guy just red that Jesus said that the dead will hear, and seconds after, that same Lawson says that deads are so dead that they can't even hear 25:13. I'm pretty sure I should believe Jesus' word, especially after He said "truly truly". By the way listen closely to that: 23:28 to 23:39. T-heological U-nbiblical L-ies I-rreverent P-oor --- And I realised that ten years juste after my new birth... : (

Total Misinformation. Moral inability of a person to come to faith? Why are they going to hell? They are unable to believe, right? Moral accountability of something a person could not do otherwise? Clearly, the Bible is not teaching this. I would rather be an atheist than stoop to such garbage. Doctrines of No-Grace to a majority of humanity he means. Doctrines of No-Grace to those who could do nothing else. "God shows grace to the humble and opposes the proud".

So you think that individuals that obtain salvation do so partly because of their intellectual ability to make good decisions. That they possess an ability above other which lack the same intellectual and intuitive aptness to see the necessity of Christ. So subsequently, wouldn't then those individuals that have this superior cognitive characteristic seem to have a place to _boast_ in their aptitude? Being smarter more capable and sensitive to see, hear and respond to the Gospel even beyond their own brokenness and ever present carnal nature, and having a greater perceptiveness than those without this cognition or receptive predisposition? Above those that are not equipped to comprehend and fully receive such a Divine message?
However, this position would then seemingly places God in a place of weakness and in the state of imperfection. That God is powerless to enact his own Will and subject to the powers darkness. In a struggle that He has lost control of within some dualistic drama. A bedlam where no matter what God does, He is still at the mercy of the will of His antagonist.
      Interesting place.

Well no. All people are able to make good decisions in fact, but many choose not to do so. There are those, however, who rather than do what their intellectual ability is capable of, they "suppress the truth in unrighteousness". They suppress the truth (romans 1). That means they actually have the intellectual ability to make good decisions - This is directly implied in Romans Chapter 1. There is no mention of moral incapacity. That is fiction. We are all equals in that regard.
As far as those like the both of us (I assume on your part)--- We simply humbled ourselves like children and responded to the gospel message, which is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. (Romans 1:16) (Eph 1:13). After we heard, we believed. That is pretty clear in scripture as well. We are no better. In fact, quite the opposite. We admitted we are sinners and helpless to save ourselves less anybody should boast. Calling that a moral ideal or a moral good is just a miss-classification. You cannot be prideful about being humble. I don't even like talking about my humbling myself, but unless you humble yourself you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven according to Jesus Christ. God only shows His grace to the humble according to the Apostles (1 Peter 5).
There is no "lack" in those who are damned. They put themselves there by denying the revelation of God and disobeying the gospel - implying that obeying the gospel is possible. Why call it disobey if they couldn't do otherwise? Moral ought does imply can unless you form some weird mystery theology. Belief is possible for the unbeliever. "The gospel is the power of God" - This means that there is no mysterious regenerating taking place hidden/reserved for a minority of humanity. That is made up and not in the Bible.
Regeneration happens when one believes according to the Bible. Believing is something we are capable of doing. Jesus says in John 5:40 you don't believe because you are not willing. He is implying a "CAN" here, but they suppressed the truth about Jesus. The could, but were not willing. This teaching in the above video is so so so far off it isn't even funny. Jesus does not say you don't believe because I didn't regenerate you yet. Though Jesus does and can cause a judicial hardening (Another topic).
There is no superiority of those who humble themselves to admit they are wretches. It is literally impossible to claim superiority when admitting your a a wretch and nothing without Christ. How odd does that sound, "I am nothing without Jesus because I am so awesome"....Wait, what? That can't be what they just said.....That is just admitting what is true and has no praise-worthy qualities. Damnable qualities on the flip side however to those who actually do think they are above the gospel. You can't say both believer and non-believer are acting prideful in their decisions or can claim praise. That is an impossibility. Humble people cannot claim self-exalting anything. Then they would not be humble. It is like a married bachelor.
Steve Lawson is so far off as well - I don't see how he gets away with it.
About a claim of man's responsibility (Ability to respond) to repent and believe-- This somehow making God impotent. That is not true. The Bible says that God was the one who put man in a garden. That was God's idea. God gave Adam a free choice and that same free choice is found in us. Our sin nature propels us to sin, but we still can repent and admit our need for a savior. That is just a plain reading of the Bible. God could determine all things and play us around like puppets on a stage, but God in His absolute perfect sovereign will has chosen to do otherwise. That is why there is great evil and injustice - God set things up to allow us to screw things up freely. We can repent and believe and that is why the Bible says, "All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved" and not "All who are effectually called will believe unconditionally". That is just weird.
God could make us puppets, but God chooses to rather pursue us, give us the Gospel, die for us, send preachers to us, reveal things to us, and convict us......... but effectually saving us through unconditional means - nope. That is not Biblical.
Most of these pages turn off the comments section because they don't want these issues addressed. To me, it is obvious why they turn off the comments.

If that is true and I think you believe it ... then what you are saying is that Satan has the power to counter and stop God's will here on Earth. At least on earth God and Satan are equals. The human race is a slave to Satan, their sin nature and this world system. All God can really do is root for you. Right?

    • @StevenWayneJones

Steve Savage I am not sure where I talked about Satan...? I did write this though, "God could determine all things and play us around like puppets on a stage, but God in His absolute perfect sovereign will has chosen to do otherwise. That is why there is great evil and injustice - God set things up to allow us to screw things up freely. We can repent and believe and that is why the Bible says, "All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved" and not "All who are effectually called will believe unconditionally"."
The Bible says, "The Lord sits in the heavens and does as He pleases" (Psalm 115:3). This means that God does whatever He wants. God wants to allow for freedom, allow for Satan to have some autonomy (Key word some), and for people to freely choose Him. God is VERY active and the only one praiseworthy in salvation. Man must believe and repent according to the Bible. Never does the Bible say that God makes man repent or makes man believe effectually and unconditionally. That is fiction.
Can God choose to give us free will? Or do you think God is not free to do this?

StevenWayneJones The Bible says that God chose the elect before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4) It also speaks about those NOT chosen before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8 & Revelation 17:8). Christ did not give the Apostle Paul a change to have freewill. He pretty much told him how it was going to be. God has the right to separate Himself from all of us because of out our sin (like he did with the rebellious angels). He knows everything long before it happens and He created all things solely for His glory.
We live in the realm of the 3rd dimensions, traveling along the 4th dimension of a stream of time and controlled by the 5th dimension of probability. God reigns over everythings. So he can do anything he wants. He has the right to choose who He wants for His glory and to separate Himself from who he wants also for His glory. Man's nature can see God handiwork but that nature hates God. No one would willingly follow God so He has to come and get us (like he did Paul).
Q: God has two rebellions one Angelic and one from man. After Christ returns and the fat lady has sang ... Could it happen again?
