    A very nice, detailed, step-by-step video. Finally, I now understand how to get the FOV aligned. :)) Thanks, Rafa!
    Just one question - how is the Altitude Difference calculated - does PhotoPils know the height of the terrain at each pin?

    • @PhotoPills
      @PhotoPills  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you John. Yes, PhotoPills takes into account the terrain altitude automatically.

    nice explanation. My question: how to find a shooting spot for your subject? You know which lighthouse you want to shoot the sunset, but you don't know the shooting position, is that possible? Thanks Hugo

      Hi Kyoto-Nara! I find the shooting spot by scouting in the field. Scout till you find a cool composition. And then use the Find tool to figure out when the Sun or the Moon will be where you want it to be in the frame.

    In other videos, you've mentioned that the height from the black pin is measured from the center of the sun/moon. So, if your subject's height is 13m and you also set your sun's height to be 13m, wouldn't it result in having only half the sun?
    So, in other words, shouldn't thr sun's height be around 19m instead of 13m for the plan to work?

    • @PhotoPills
      @PhotoPills  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Good question. In this plan I want the center of the Sun at the same height of the lighthouse. If you want to have the whole sun above it. Then take 13m (height of the lighthouse) and add the radius of the Sun (you have it on Panel 2).

      @@PhotoPills alright. I'm only saying that because in Antonio's photo all of the sun is visible.
