Please let me know if I'm wrong, but am I correct in saying Islamic Mortgages do not allow for overpayments? Why is this? Isn't it in the buyer's interest to pay off their mortgage as soon as possible if they can make additional overpayments on top of their monthly payments?

Salaams can you do a video on what the halaal finance options are for muslims who have bad credit or a black mark such as a CCJ (debt under £500 or over) which lenders would still be willing to give you a chance. How greater the deposit amount should be a few examples etc jazakallah

Depends what ISA it is and what platform you use. If it's a stocks and shares ISA you can choose what stocks you want to buy shares in.

Fixed rent. Variable rent. Both pegged to bank of England base rate.
The entire content of this video and and the websites of the providers of so called islamic mortgages are indistinguishable from conventional mortgages. Just replace the word interest with rent.
Pfida offer a truly ethical and Islamically equitable way of provisioning a home. Unfortunately, there's a waiting list as they need investor funds to purchase houses.
So many well of Muslims in our community but they don't want to invest in this wholesome venture.

Some of these so-called Islamic Mortgages are a complete sham.
Fixed Rental Rate and Variable Rental Rate are immediate red flags. Just replace the word with rental with interest...what's the difference?

Why you should not buy a house with a mortgage in 2023
      1. Have houses prices really gone up if you adjust the house price for the real amount of inflation this is called the real house price
2 house prices went up as they were artificially stimulated
3 mortgage rates will continue to rise in an effort to curb inflation
4 many people are going to default on their mortgages when this happens many distressed homes will come on the market
      5. If you go to layoffteacker you will see many blue collar employees have lost their jobs and many more will in the coming years so they will also lose their houses
6.many peoples jobs will be replaced with AI and there will be mass unemployment and again people will lose their homes
7 . If you get involved in RIBA no matter how you try to rebrand it as being halal you are waging a war against god and your grave will be filled with blood
      8. Living costs will continue to rise ie food and heating and many people will default on their mortgages
9 I could say many other things but that’s enough for now
10 . Many mortgage products have been removed from the market ie HSBC’s removed their products a few weeks ago .
A lack of mortgage products will force the value of houses down to a level people can buy houses at over time as many people will be unable to fund buying a house
