I download book files on my android phone, open up files, then share the file with the kindle app. Once it shows up in the kindle app, I connect my kindle to wifi and the book should show up ready for downloading to the kindle.

I like using Send to Kindle because it sends to the device and to the Kindle app. Reading is synchronized between devices.

What about color content? Sideloaded material does not show color.
Apparently, The color won't work when side loading. You have to use the web transfer portal for color to work on the colorsoft.
any way to use google play book on any kindle ?
Maybe if you strip the DRM via Calibre
I email my 3rd party epub to my kindle. It is much easier
