- This new age Peugeot combines a unique design and feline stance with engineering excellence focused on efficiency and intelligent electrification, with cutting-edge technologies dedicated to creating an instinctive driving experience.
The mould-breaking Peugeot 408 stands out first and foremost for its dynamic fastback silhouette and unmistakable style. The feline stance is typical of the latest Peugeot models, with its sharp lines and colour-coded grille, the latter of which blends in perfectly with the front end and showcases the new Peugeot emblem.
At the front, a distinctive fang-shaped light signature brings the 408 into line with the rest of the Peugeot family, as do the three-claw LED lights at the rear. An inverted cut-out in the rear bumper also gives the profile a distinctive look.
With a height of 1.48m, a length of 4.69m and a long wheelbase of 2.79m, the new Peugeot 408 provides spacious second row seats with 188mm of knee room. The boot is also generously sized, with a maximum volume of 536 litres, which can be increased to 1,611 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Meanwhile, it is powered by a new generation 1.6 Turbo Puretech engine which is exceptionally powerful, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds.
Peugeots handling really one of the best in my list ,steering turning very sharp
If you are long enough in the car industry in Malaysia, u will know that Peugeot cars cannot pakai one . Good looks is one thing, but if there are non stop problems with the car, whats the point? After the night mare with the 308 turbo, i will never ever touch Peugeot cars again. Yes they have warranty, but whats the point of warranty if u need to send the car in to service centre every month?
I beg anyone reading this pls dont touch Peugeot cars or any French cars for the matter. And to top it off when u try to sell ur. French car, the RV is horrible. Go have a look at how much a 308 turbo or a 208 is selling for now.
Too much flattering, feels like watching ads 😂😂😂
Nothing much to complain about the car hence he is not complaining for the sake of complaining. Want second hand value or bad experience with those 2017 and earlier models ? Then look away
The video camera does not do the car justice. Cannot see the interior feature properly.
I wish they had the hybrid version here. Might be a good deal to go along with the sporty look.
Awesome

Your knees will hit the protruding rear bumper when loading things into boot. Still using the old 360 stitched cam also no AWD for the top specs GT.
Why your ending so sudden?
bro, can go test drive?
ADAS level 1 or 2?
B or c segment?
Waiting 5 years after to buy second hand
Because why?
Radar that might not work bcos here nobody really know how to properly maintained it or repait it. Owner 308 2016-2021. Aircond need replace after 3 years - changed to normal compressor, easy to topup normal gas. My 2017 408 roof curtain cabut after 3 years aircraft compressor also change after 3 years- need indoor parking 24 hour so interior can last.
the video recording in car is so shaky.
For dramatic effect
i must sell goreng pisang cheese as much as i can to buy this beauty😅
How about the price range?
We guesstimate it to be between RMRM149,888 to RM179,888.
@@dsfmythats cheap. I thaught above 300k
@@dsfmy aiyoyo...i am thinking should i go for EV or ICE...
@sptmkt2184
If you are an ICE fan, then go for it.
@@AjLuvUas it should be. If bermaz brought in this car it would be above 200k at least. Now stellantis is taking the matters in their own hand
mix marriage between Mazda and Audi and obviously at the back of the car.
Feels like the honda civic fe turbo seems faster
With that awful cvt? Lol
@InnerFire6213 hahahahah no way long term Peugeot beats Honda and I have used both
@@InnerFire6213 have you tried the civic sir?
@@sdpino5229 with all the steering rack and turbo issues you say that lol, even the ketam is problematic and wouldn't even last 10 years like the old generations. Reliability also depends on how you take care of the car. Got nothing against honda but someone who drives one isn't exactly known for appreciation of quality and refinements. You would be just as happy in a myvi because that's the quality you settle for.
@InnerFire6213 yes sir maintenance is the key but based on reliability of course japs are better...and you are correct nowadays cars are not long lasting as previous gen cars...but having a car to drive even after maintaining still has issues than not good as well...maybe its the hot weather in Malaysia 😅
omg. This car in black must be very handsome
Too black you cannot even see how handsome it is
looks to much bias & exaggerating toward peogeot, just tell they pay you meh😂
lookng stylish but not reliable
Not for a poor people like you of coz
@@MrCorezero so u know me well?
