Danny’s pools are just as good and the food there is incredible and cheap
Big fan of Alykanas, not stayed at Dannys but Zante Nest was a great place for us in 2022!
Zante Nest is a lovely place to stay, I really like it there!
was very chilled, the food was great and Sakis and his family were always on hand for any help etc!@@BeckyBartlam

Good morning. Just watched your video, lovely. I assumed you used a Gopro for underwater shots and if so, what model was it please? I am going to Zante next May 2023 so going snorkeling and need a camera. Hopefully I can get a nice tan being there 10 days. Any advice much appreciated. Must get me a mobile stick for my mobile. Cheers
Hey, thank you! I used the GoPro 4 for all the video. I had the standard case for normal filming and then the waterproof case for in the water. The sound is not as clear with the waterproof case on but its perfect for underwater filming, would be perfect for snorkelling. You can also get a float handle for in the water so it would float if you were to accidentally drop. I did just use my standard handle for all as I wasn’t going to deep in the water. Zante is such a beautiful island so I hope you have the best time!

How many restaurants other than Horios are there in Alykanas, and how many Beach Bars are there in Alykes and Alykanas other than Paradisio and Bocca?
They are my favourites as you can tell from all my holiday vlogs but there are loads in both resorts. They are all really nice so you cant go wrong
we stayed at Danny's 5 times it's a lovely place were coming over in 3 weeks time cant wait

Does the guy who works the Asteria beach bit still work there? Vlad, I think he was called. He was a right character.
I’m not sure, we didn’t go to Asteria this time so did not see him. Most of the other beach people in the other bars were the same x
What do things cost in Alykanas? Like meals, drinks, sunbeds, horse rides?
Horse rides are €10 set price. Sun beds range from €8-€10 euros however there are a few places where they are free as long as you purchase drinks/food like Bocca and Oasis. Cocktails are around €6 - €10 Sprits €5 large bear €4 again all depending where you go but they are roughly the same.

do you prefer zante nest to dannys ?
I like them both and would stay at both again. Dannys is a much bigger complex, therefore more families and a much busier pool. Zante nest is a smaller complex and is quieter.
