Just drove by it this weekend as I passed through Farmington and Shiprock. It is stunning being a high jagged rock formation in the middle of a flat dusty plain. I can imagine how out of this world it would appear on a full moonlit night.

How on earth does this have over 3k views but only 108 likes (inc mine)? How can anyone not like this? Even the music is beautiful, spiritual even. When I see vids of landscapes like this, I am moved to tears, wondering how this terrain once looked, who are we really and why is the truth being withheld! I feel honoured to have been invited as a guest to share your awesome travels and discovery! This was incredible! Thank you so much my friend. x

The giant rock looks like a petrified stump. It also looks very similar to a stump that broke off and decayed over time. With the legends of a water wall consuming the land over a mile high it’s the only thing i could think of that would break such a grand tree.

Fantastic drone footage! Reminds me of the TH-cam video - Jeb Corliss and Luigi Cani - Ball Pyramid! - which was shot from wing suits off the coast of New Zealand.

Recall seeing this from a Denver to Los Angeles flight back in the mid-90s. I didn't know the name and kept trying to find it on maps but couldn't...I had assumed we were flying over southern Utah.
