What a wonderful time to be alive. I remember the anticipation and excitement i felt when I would see the advertisements for all of the Christmas specials. It seemed like the Christmas season lasted for a whole year. Everyone was happy and cheerful. It was a magical time that will never be equaled.
The 80s was a golden age of many things nostaliga from games to toys to cartoons to music to fasion to movies, just makes me wanna say: SIXTY-NINE DUDE!
Being someone who grew up during the 70's, and my teens during the 80's, these older 🎄Christmas🎄 commercials bring back a LOT of really wonderful memories. I've said this before, but Christmas during the 70's and 80's was by far a more special and wonderful time. Everything seemed to be better in so many different ways. The ambiance was much more festive, the people were friendlier, and the stores seemed better. Yes they were still commercialized but nowadays it's just not the same. I remember watching TV, seeing the Toys"R"Us commercials, that feeling of excitement and anticipation grew and grew. It was fun. Nowadays people are so much more bitter and angry. I miss those days.
I was born in 1970. I completely agree with you. We were lucky enough to see Star Wars, smokie and the bandit, and all the great movies on the big screen when they came out! It was so much nicer back then. Kmart alway decorated the parking lot light posts, you never see that anywhere anymore. God bless, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh man Crazy TV Lenny from American📺TV📺! We had one in Oak Creek if I remember correctly. I bought a couple of my Car Stereos there. My Alpine💿CD💿 player, my Yamaha 500w/x2 Amplifier, and my MTX Terminator Box 15" woofer speakers. Oh man did it ROCK! I really miss those days. Cruising on 🛣Highway🛣100🛣 at night and Root River Parkway during the day. Wisconsin may have some brutal winters but we knew how to have fun during the summers. 🎄Christmas🎄 was always the best time of year no matter what. Thank you for this wonderful memory. I hadn't thought about Crazy TV Lenny for over a decade now, at least. So many memories of these incredible times and people. My best friend Ron, Tom, Craig, Bob, Guy, Paul, and work buddies like little Rick and Dan. The 80's were my teenage years. I was 13 in 1980. By early 1983, I had my first job pushing carts at our local Grocery store. I also did the "Bottles". The returnable Pepsi, Coca-Cola, 7-Up, Sprite, etc 8 pack bottles. They had a rolling rack by customer service and as it filled we took it to the back and cleared it off and organized the process. All for a whopping $2.85/hour. There was a special government program where if a store or retailer would hire a minor, 15-17 they could pay them under the minimum wage of $3.35/hr. Those $35-60.⁰⁰ checks were the bomb! LOL. Again thank you for reminding me of those years, those wonderful times and experiences. They were truly some of the best times of my life!
people who grew up in the 80's will always say it was the best time to be a kid. same with the 90's kid's as well. i wish i can go back & buy up all the toy's i once had.

Yep - it’s why I’m not too afraid to die.
Ah yes, those were MY days. Enjoyed and remember almost all of those commercials.

Yeah but the 80's kids are right!
The old days. 😭😭😭😭
I just assumed everyone had those disc cameras in the 80s when I was a kid
The 80s was the best
like you how you showed the santa space ad pretty much back to back
Activision had the majority of the best games available on the Atari 2600.
Why!! I used to work there. I did the Christmas there. It was busy.
where you never said
Surprised even Santa could get the piece of shit controller to work for 5200
I owned a Atari 5200 and I never had any issues or problems with the controllers. Maybe Santa didn't think that you deserved a working controller?
@@EdsterIII I went aftermarket. WICO made a great one, just had to daisy chain off the 5200 controller and worked flawless. Still does :)
