Hate flat tires? You need Slime. But how does Slime tire sealant work? Watch the video to see Slime tire sealant in action and learn more about the power of Slime!
You guys should advertise the tube slime for electric scooter tires. If you look into changing one you'll see the headache that it really is and the tube slime just saved me all of that and it worked better then I could have imagined. I was thinking if slime made a small emergency kit for scooters I think it would be wildly successful. Maybe a hard case you can strap to the handlebar stem with 8oz of tube slime and a small hand pump plus extra room for personal things like phone, wallet, small tools. If you look into the process of changing a tire on these it involves soaking the tire in boiling water to stretch it and its still a struggle, plus the hub being the motor, the average person doesn't want to get into all that. Personal electric scooters are taking small town America by storm, capitalize on it!
Literally just today I had my EUC tube punctured. I was absolutely dreading taking it apart so I could get access to the tube, but I tried slime instead and it works perfectly!! I will be prefilling any future innertubes with slime before they get punctured!
Yes. I'm here exactly because so many e-scooter reviewers were saying Slime was a must-buy to prevent flats because they are such a pain to deal with. This video did a good job explaining how it works!
@@MeepMeep88its actually because you can't balance a tire that's been slimed, it screws up the ride and makes all the tires wear unevenly, that's why its recommended for off road use where most driving is done under 25 mph. the more you know!

You still want to remove the nail or screw and plug it with a resin kit from the outside then add slime if necessary for small leak. This is provided the puncture location isn't on the wall of the tire
I literally just used slime for the first time. put it into a good bike tube that has never leaked before, to prevent leaks. rode it 15 miles. next day, tire is flat. 😔
when even grams of weight balancing matters, you have this free weighting tacky liquid floating freely inside the tire disturbing the weight profile of the tire
Since ive updated to slime inner tubes and fresh new tires,Not had one puncher,The new tires got a thick coating of rubber on the insides as well to less likely to get any more punchers,Thats that problem solved
@@DexterHeisenbergBruh so basically you still had to make the puncture right?, we can't solely rely on it for sealing. It works like a temporary solution...or not ?
@@lilu2580 I do think it’s temporary for like 6 months. I’ve been on more bike rides since my first post and have still had no problems. I keep expecting the air to have slowly leaked out overnight but it’s held firm so far.
I've used half of the botle (118 ml) in my rear tube tire from my electric scooter and in the 4-th day i had a flat, the tire deflated like 60% so i've been able to get home (300 meters). The next day i've inflated the tire and it seemed to hold the air so i decided to go in the park for a spin, after 20 minutes i had a beautifull flat tire with no air in it, it deflated 100% and the tube valve even retracted inside the tire. In conclusion is not good for electric scooters because the electric motor is heating the tube inside the tire and the slime loses it's properties.
What I don't understand is the conditions that make the sealant turn from liquid to solid. And also, what eventually happens to product that renders it defunct and needing to replace the tyre.
Honest to God, same question but I'm driving a car right now I used the slime on. Had a hole caused by a screw, took out the screw added the slime and its holding very well. At least we'll enough for me to get to a tire shop and get the tire replaced
If it is tube less you remove the tire and clean it out with water if it is a tube then yes you will need to replace it every 2 years to keep the slime working
It doesn't turn solid. It has particles of rubber or something floating around in the slime. When it starts to leak out of the puncture the particles stack up inside the hole sealing it.
There is genuinely no way that slime is making your car rattle at high speeds. Your tires either need rebalanced, or you've got problems other than tires.
That’s actually not accurate. If the outside temp has been below 28 degrees for more than 3 days.. the slime begins to solidify. I’ve ran slime for years and love it… but when it gets cold outside I can feel the out of balance slime at highway speed until the tires get warm enough that it flows once more.
I can confirm that slime does cause a rattling at highway speeds. Didn’t feel the rattle until after the slime was added. And I came to the comment section jus to see if it was only me and it’s not so no more slime for me
I thought you'd put this into an inflated tire. But instructions are to remove all air and then put in the product. How the hell will that work when the deflated tire will be OFF THE RIM?
I've used this for years with extremely good results. I put them in all my cars on all tires ever since I first used it, preemptively and proactively. You don't need to take all the air out, just enough to let you squeeze the product in through the air worm.
Slime clogs intake valve and makes the Schrader valve core impossible to remove. Then you can't air up the tire. Please stop putting slime in new bicycle tire tubes. If I wanted slime I would buy it separately.
This shit doesn't work on tube tires. The tread depth Guage made for bicycles indicate that a brand new tire that has never even touched pavement needs to be replaced. The only tires that slime works well for are low pressure atv tires.

exactly. scooter tire tubes break often too, slime helps a ton

Shhh... Don't give them my ideas.
Also don't e-scooters have tyre pressure sensors we need to worry about?
This slime is 2 for 2 at getting me off the side of the road. Highly recommended, even if the tire shops hate it.
Why do they hate it?
@@MeepMeep88 Its a bitch to clean I hear.

Great product!!.

Would this work for my tires during the winter?
So it makes your tire invincible basically
Yes it’s like running tubeless on a mountain bike.
it's amazing
I have on my mtb ran over broken beer bottles, nails, etc. And yet they all sealed. Only time it wouldnt is due to the tire being worn too thin.
They can still get a puncture if you are unfortunately to ride over a nail or a big piece of glass. But I'm never having to fix flats anymore.

this is the shit that killed superman
Lmaoooooo hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣

This comment killed me 💀💀💀
Will this product work if you have a bent aluminum rim that is causing a really small leak??
Tire shop quoted me at $50 to fix my flat, got a bottle of slime at Walmart for $10 flat fixed.
Most dealerships and les Schwab places repair tires, our honda dealership repairs for free
How long did it last ?

How will this work with a tpms sensor?
LOVE IT !!!
I recommend getting this stuff If you have a ebike
Does it dry
I have an ebike fat tire should I use this

I think it's designed for punctures only? So if your tire is leaking regardless of punctures it could be the valve?
also a great aquarium such end such

Slime good for 2 years, and after 2 years, do I need to do it again for another 2 years?
Can use for both tubeless and tube?
Yeah but better with a tube so it doesn’t get all over your rim
Cool
Can this be used to seal air leak where tire meets the rim?
tightly strap around the tyre to push it to the sides as you inflate it.
Since ive updated to slime inner tubes and fresh new tires,Not had one puncher,The new tires got a thick coating of rubber on the insides as well to less likely to get any more punchers,Thats that problem solved
What's the 2 in 1 do?
Can it be use on a already puncture tire?
Yes, my bike had a flat, filled with Slime and air, took a bike ride and it survived the trip.

Can I still put in slime even after the a flat tire?
According to video, you put slme in BEFORE you get a puncture?
Afcourse otherwise you are too late, you out the slime in before a hole and when you get a hole the slime will fill it up

How is the motor heating up the tire?
Good question???

Does this leave residue on the inside of the rim?
Yes if you didn't follow the required changes interval. Also they make your rims rusty in the long run. It can also affects tire balance

It won’t because it will spread when you start driving so whe. You leave you driveway it will be spread out

This product didn’t work at all when I was pushing the slime in it didn’t go through and for the big pump the hose broke off the pump
Did you remove the air valve core first? 🗿
Can I put this on my newly change tire. So it won't get flat again?
Yeah, if the tire didn't already have slime pre installed. It helps but doesn't make the tire invincible
Didn’t work for my dirtbike 😭
I have it on my motorcycle it's pretty cool but whenever it backs up the schrader valve it's just a pain in the ass
