    Hope that you both enjoyed your trip to paris! My favourites are the indian shirt dress and the sports jacket and the corduroy dress. I'm now watching carole king doing a live studio perfomance for the bbc in 1971. Last saturday bbc2 had an evening of programmes dedicated to carole king so i recorded them all. 🌼🙋‍♂️

    Next time you go to Paris you should definitely check out Relique! It's a vintage store with clothes from the 60s and 70s only, very well curated and I'm sure you'd love everything there! A bit pricy though

    Oh I'd have an absolute BLAST in all these shops!! But then I'd cry because it's so rare to come across plus-size vintage so it would be hard to find anything to fit haha. But it sure would be fun!

    Orvis is a great brand which is similar to LLBean, EddieBauer. Outdoor, utility, cottage, earthy vibe. The dress is so pretty!💕

    Your vid Emma is incredible!!!! I live in a small countryside town in Greece & we have a lot of chinese stores with regular types of clothing, but we have only 3 kind of thrift stores that sell clothes of all kind of fashion wear, you have to search a lot to find a nice 60s-70s pieces, the prices are fine (under 50Euros to 1 Euro). I also loved the Paris vlog, the town is amazing, but my fav part of the vlog was when you visited the Jim Morrison's grave, it's soo emotional....Have a nice time,a lot of love Emma!!!!!.....

    Honestly i think everything was from 80s to 2000s. In france we rarely get 60s/70s stuff sadly

      I thought The same while visiting Paris. But honestly I feel like Emma never disappoints because most of these stores didn’t look like much and she still managed to find the few 1960s and 1970s vintage pieces. Her haul featured so many authentic pieces I was a little jealous 🙈

    Loved to see how the thrift store infrastructure looks in another country! Though i think, you might feel that way about not really finding anything that stands out to you in thrift stores, because you already own so many great staple pieces!💕 thus doing more specific vintage hunting (online) might be the way i'd probably go about it :)

      That might be true ✨ I’ve actually find myself doing a lot more online vintage shopping than I used to because I’m looking for specific pieces now 💌

    Der Trödel am porte de clignancourt war vor 25 eine reine Fundgrube für mich. Habe dort zwei tolle mod 60s-Kleider + eine Courrèges-ähnliche rot-weiße Knautschlack-Jacke gefunden🧡

    I've found a 70s laura ashley in freepstar before for 20€! so it is really a luck game haha.
    There is a only 60s-70s store ! Lapin Vintage, you would have love it.
    I don't like kiloshops, they put all the nice stuff by the piece and not weight

      That’s so cool 🌼 I would’ve loved to visit Lapin Vintage but I just couldn’t make it happen. I felt like that with a lot of the kilo shops too…

      i wonder where you live? There are a lot in melbourne and central victoria. Mostly we call them op shops. Unfortunately they have been overwhelmed by items from the nineties onwards. The places exist more to give people on a low budget access to household items, rather than to clothes with style. But then, if you go to Fitzroy or Collingwood or st kilda, or Prahran, it is more interesting, and more expensive.

    I live in San Diego and with hipster culture everything here is overpriced, last Saturday I went to my neighborhood vintage boutique and saw a very pretty prairie dress and it was 120 dlls , we don’t have a by kilo option but there is goodwill we’re people donate their belongings, the problem is that employees buy the best stuff to resale but sometimes you can get lucky if you take like 2 hours browsing the entire store 😅 , sending you hugs from California ❤☀️

    • @EmmaRosaKatharina
      @EmmaRosaKatharina  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s so interesting ✨ however it’s sad to here that prices for vintage and thrifted pieces have gone up so much. Maybe you can find a store that’s run by someone who doesn’t resell for profit? I personally find charity shops still pretty affordable, at least where I live 🌼 sending you hugs xx

    Interesting video , Personally in the U.K i do prefer charity/thrift stores for picking up vintage, as so many 'curated' stores can be overpriced, and a bit modern for my tastes or overpriced tat, there used to be a great place called 'What the Butler wore' in london, all authentic 60s 70s clothing, sadly it closed.Brighton used to be good in the early 90's, and had great markets,
