**Recorded front row with blacked out phone to not disturb
Bjork Live from Iceland. These shows were postponed 6 times with 7 different dates due to covid. That's got to be a record. Even Bjork herself had forgotten how many times on her IG updates. They were actually announced after the first Covid wave and were due for August 2020 as Iceland had avoided getting hit, the only gigs by a major artist to happen anywhere in the world. I had had the Faroe Islands basically to myself, and flew into Iceland only for the shows to be canceled the very next day as covid finally hit the island. In the end the shows went ahead 15 months and many more cancelations later in Oct/Nov 2022, still one of the first set of gigs to happen worldwide in 20 months. This is the 2nd of her 4 shows at Harpa on Oct 24th 2021.
(Added to that, my first trip to Iceland in 2011 Bjork had played 4 shows during the 11 days I was there but whatever way I tried to adjust the trip, I wasn't able to catch her. So, after all that, this was a pretty special moment.)

Hello, sorry to trouble you - would yoy recommend sitting in these 1st rows? I note that harpa don't list them as top price tickets í assume because they are that much closer to the stage, but I worry about having someone tall in front of me if I am not in the front row. Just wondered on your thoughts as someone who goes to lots of gigs! 😊thanks!
Absolutely go front row. Harpa front row is only arms-length from stage. The vid makes it look a strange angle because phone is on spare seat next to me. Hope that helps :)
@@TunesofTimmy thank you so much! I am booking for a show tomorrow but there has been a pre sale for icelanders only (some kind of banking app) so just hoping there is still some front row left.... Maybe even 2nd or 3rd is better than where the higher price stsrts... Thank you again for your advice!
@@kookie400 no prob. yeh not sure why they'd be cheaper. Sometimes the seating cost doesn't make sense. Enjoy your show :)
