VTi is the base model,then VTi-L is the more luxurious one,with either this engine 2.0 K20 or 2.4 K24 (158hp version,not the 197hp version).

@Myname Isunavailable automatic is not a manual, you can't dump it from N to drive, you're going to ruin it in a couple of launches, plus it's almost 2 seconds slower. Don't do launches in an Auto.

If you do get the V6 you better have a good mechanic to fucking pull half the engine out. 2nd get the Civic but the timing chains models. Idk what's a fusion
So i tested yesterday, 140/150 Kp/h is 9 litters. At 120/130 kp/h it dropped to 7.5 litters. If i drive it even slower, 90/100 kp/h i bet i can drop it to 6 litters or maybe 6.5.
MA_DD unfortunately there is no VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO on the 2.0l 155 hp accord cl7 which comes with 2 different engines k20a6 and k20z2 for the 2006 model only but there are no differences between them (at least not critical)... if you look for a beasty accord get your self a 2.4 reflash it and get CAI from k&N... you wont regret it and you ll be thankful for the rest of your life ;) the 2.0 l is not a builded to be used as a race car... there are almost no parts to get for it to tune and cylinderhead swaps are almost impossible to do... (well if youre stupid enough to pay around 10k $$$ ) thats it ^^
You LUNCHED it at 43 seconds reached 100 km/ph at 51 seconds so 8 seconds if you shifted from 1st to 2nd a bit faster it would of saved you 0.5 to 1 of a second so best 0 to 100 time around 7 to 7.5 seconds by the way great lunch :)
No i jakoś daję radę, nawet przywykłem do tych 155 i nie pogradził bym i 200ps. Co do wygłuszenia, spokojnie przy 140km/h. da się rozmawiać w środku nie podnosząc głosu. co do spalania to na trasie jadąc spokojnie można bez trudu osiągnąć średnie na poziomie 7,5L/100km. W mieście już nie ma tak różowo, w typowym ruchu miejskim 12-13 to norma i ciężko zejść niżej.
+JAY AREA This looks to be the 2006 - 2008 version of the 7th gen. 7th gen was produced from, I think, 2004 - 2008(not many in 08 because that is when 8th gen came in). This is the 06-08 because a facelift occured, the dials aren't the redish colour. Much more clear ;)

Can anyone explain what's so special about a VTEC? Like I see kids with a horrible sounding exhaust and they think the car is just so fast and it's not! It's sounds like trash scrapyard junk! A Honda Civic or whatever uses the VTEC just isn't a race car
variable valve timing. when plodding along at normal city driving, for example, the engine performs exactly as any make of engine would, low revs with enough power for when its needed. Variable valve timing (Honda's system being called V-tec) allows for increased performance without actually increasing the size of the engine by allowing the valves to stay open longer (higher lift), allowing more air/fuel mix into the combustion chamber. also, if you've got a 5.7L V8 and can only do 0-100(km/h) in 7-8 seconds, it sounds like you have the scrapyard junk...
+Aaron Hobson it's not scrapyard junk, it's actually in quite good condition, 6.9-8 second 0-60 times in a 2004 345 hp 5.7 hemi truck is not bad at all, and the 4th gen HEMIS with the 395 hp can get that too given the weight gain, it's not a bad 0-60 time at all for over 5,000 lbs of truck
i know this comment is 4 years old but here in europe gas prices are high and the tax is through the roof....hence we drive small engined cars...that is why we fussa bout engines like vtec or vvtli cos they re giving us small engines with good economy and when we want we can have some grunt to have a bit of fun
