I get why DEI was implemented in things. The fact that, in gaming, people with experience and merit are being looked passed over just because they done tick X box of skin color or sexuality is messed up. I dont care what someones skin color, whats in their pants, or which way they swing is, i want the best person for the job so we can get good games. But a lot of games companies now hire based off those criteria.
It's because there's an unconscious bias to hiring white people At least here in the UK Mind you, this was a decade ago, who knows how different it is now
