This is a wedding & full of love & joy. As I read some comments some did nothing but cut down the bride & HR family. How sad it is to see so much hate & put downs at a happy moment in some ones life. Congrats & pray happiness for ever 🤗🙏🙏🙏
When Hassan said his people like to negotiate. We are contractors and had to drop a lot of clients because of this, then call us to fix the mistakes their previous contractors messed up. It’s annoying. We no longer like to deal with these customers because it’s to hard to collect payment.
It’s beautiful how too people that literally met on their wedding day managed to create such strong relationship and raise their children with love and affection so when it’s time for their daughter to have a family of her own she will cry tears of sadness she is living the nest .. most of the young Europeans can’t wait to move out.. including myself. I love my family and i am thankful for my independence to choose whatever I want, but I wish for such strong relationship .
That relationship comes with an immense amount of pressure. It's not the European unconditional love. It's the pressure kind of love where "if you don't do a,b,c, you are a failure and will be disowned". You essentially don 't have your own life really.
I have 18 uncles, 18 aunts, am 1 of 90 cousins so family reunions are easy 200 people, as a child I found it so intriguing and wierd that people had large families and they would say like 20 or 30 people in their big families.
They start saving when the kid is born. Also, other family members will chip in. As for the clothes, I’m pretty sure they get them oversees from South Asia which would make them pretty inexpensive.
@@andycalimara yes I would. The expense for a one day wedding is ridiculous these days let alone days of events. It doesn’t matter what culture it is from. The cost is prohibitive unless you’re ultra rich.
@@rosemariediamond5948 People prioritize what is important to them and they make choices. Don’t knock them for being able to afford it. You sound like a bitter Karen who thinks that everyone should survive on cheese and crackers because that’s all we deserve.
From what I understand the daughter will be “leaving” her family and joining his. Usually there is some time for the new couple to get settled before the bride sees her family again, and certainly not as much as she would have when she was living with her family full time
Brides usually live with their families (not on their own) until marriage. So, it’s about no longer having that day to day of seeing your closest family to starting a completely new way of life, in a new home, with the husband or the husband’s family. So it’s about celebrating the new life but also mourning the previous one.
That's funny they say they are always early here in America we're always late some have a saying that We would be late for our own funerals.. Thats actually something interesting to know ..
They're lucky it's not the olden days when a bride was sent to live with her new hubby and in laws far away in another village or city where she rarely or never got to see her family again. The poorer families couldn't afford to travel and there were no cell phones or internet in those days and many couldn't read and write so there were no letters either. That's when it was really sad for the bride and her family.
Yes they do get to see their families..You must understand in the culture the girls are held close to their families being loved an protected. So their bond with their own family is very close. When they are going to get married they become their husbands parents daughter and I. Essence part of their family.. their daughter. The girls are still close with their families but the bond has been broken that the girl doesn’t live with her parents any longer..So they come to visit. There are Scottish Indians but I think these people are Pakistani. Their outfits and name are a little different than Indians. I could be wrong though.

No, he had some type of nasal or possibly pituitary gland removal surgery. They cut at the base of the nose to enter the posterior portion of the nose because he sounds very hypernasal. Surgery would have been two or three days beforehand.
Traditionally they may not see her again, or very much. Clearly they are more modern than that but the mother may also be reminded of being passed off to a man she hadn't even met.
I was so mad when they said the bride must transfer her love for her parents to her in-laws. I want to be respectful of the culture, but does that really need to be said?
It’s not actually like that it’s a metaphor for how they officially leave their parents house for good and go to the in-laws house til they get their own if they don’t take over as head of that family. It’s not like she’s never gonna see her family again but it does change a little
What I want to know, is what jobs do these people have that: 1. They can afford all these festivities? 2. Their boss approves almost a weeks worth of days off because of a wedding?
I am honestly not trying to be rude, love the channel I watch constantly. But is that a man? You know exactly who I'm taking about. I just didn't know the culture was cool with that is all.
Why? Because she’s not model thin and has a slightly deeper voice? Be better. Women come in every different size and shape. She’s beautiful and seems so sweet.
They had to take it off the air due to complaints of child/animal abuse because of their traditions. Plus the families involved no longer wanted to be filmed.
The mother of the bride was so lovely she tugged at my heart. Beautiful family
Same!!!

That was a great spot for photos.
I'd get the sobbing if the bride was moving a far distance away. To far to visit on the regular. A thirty min drive is nothing.
what does the drawing on the arms ans hands and feet mean

The boys that are resistant to wearing Kilts should watch the Men at the Highland games.
Don’t you have to wash the gloopy stuff off when it’s dried? So wouldn’t the glitter and gems come off?
I wondered that too. Maybe there's a trend of leaving the henna on? Or just taking pictures of it when it's fancy before you take it off.
What fun!
