The difference in dynamic between 2014 and 2015 TIHC is so insane. Here, you can tell they're still getting used to playing these songs and there's a nervous energy the entire set. 2015, they come fully prepared and completely own that awkward energy. And they just get more and more seasoned every year they're a band.
Laughed pretty hard at cool guy with his little flag in the beginning, waving it once or twice and almost immediately getting it wrapped up and unusable.
Can't stand when ppl intentionally swing their arms on the people on the sides and in front. Like dude, aim towards the pit, that's what it's there for. Talking to you big guy in tank and shaved sides
what does it matter if a band used to be ska or rich kids? i'm sure a majority of people leaving these comments are in cookie cutter crust / screamo bands that are all saying the exact same thing. Stop pointing fingers build your own hype,
When he runs across the stage at the very beginning of the song, throws off his hat and front flips into the crowd...I know this is a very late observation, but this version of Nothing (The Rat) is my absolute favorite

this video simultaneously makes me want to see COK ridiculously bad, but further reinforces my hatred of hardcore shows, the people throwing fists and jumping and just generally being ridiculous. I can appreciate their intensity, but it seems overwhelmingly selfish. I wouldn't ever tell them to stop, but it's not for me.
I do really like this band, just picked the 2 albums up today, but I'm really not big on the drummer's vocals here. On record and such they sound great, whereas in this there's no diction. I don't know whether his mouth's too close to the mic or what, but I can't hear a word he's saying. When he pitches his voice lower it sounds good, but it always seems to revert back to this monotonous yelp he does. It's a shame, I really like this set otherwise.
+michelle martinez First off, calm down. Secondly, it's his voice I'm not big on, the fact he drums at the same time doesn't change how his vocals sound, he's perfectly capable of doing both things separately and together, or else he probably wouldn't be in the band. So yeah, nice job on trying to have a valid point but better luck next time.
I think his voice is strained or blown. I am a vocalist as well, and my screaming technique is not very good so I don't have good endurance (I'm a much better singer). When I scream too much for too long, it starts to sound like his does in this video. Kind of shrill, lose most of my tone, etc. So it's possible his voice is just exhausted from touring, didn't properly warm up, doesn't have the best technique, whatever.
It's also somewhat because of the recording as well. Pretty sure the audio is recorded from the soundboard so it's a lot "cleaner" then it would be otherwise. If you were at the venue his vocals wouldn't be as audible behind the instruments, but because of how it's recorded here the vocals stand out and it's a lot more noticeable how different they sound compared to the album (or if you were in the venue at the time).
Too bad the dance dance revolution actually worked and changed metal. Act like you can do something in the pit, but hope no one touches you. "I am going to jump up on the stage and show everyone my amazing dance moves. Even better, I will do it before the music starts."
If you are somehow reading this from the past, this band played at Coachella 2022.
And Turnstile has their music in a Taco Bell commercial. Signing to RoadRunner will do that to ya
looking back on this they really had no business going this hard as 20-21 year olds. so good

The opening before the song actually kicks in just watching the audience reaction you could tell it was about to get really intense , good stuff.
Reba is legit the coolest chick out, holy fuck.

Drummer sounds like an angry Kenny from SouthPark.

2014 “yo we are playing tihc hope you like us, 2015 yo we are here ARE YOU READY”
Laughed pretty hard at cool guy with his little flag in the beginning, waving it once or twice and almost immediately getting it wrapped up and unusable.
Seeing Shade on guitar is so weird now
Reba Meyer's voice is fucking immense. So good.
It's fukin hard for me to do any kinda vocals while I'm Drumming ....that drummer is fukin badass for real
Lol @ the Ryan Giggs shirt 1:24
The air really took a beating that night, hope it’s ok.
6:19 holy shit bro
I was there on the 26th that year, still got to see good bands like cruel hand and rotting out, but wish I couldve seen these guys.

John Hill to them its not about the music
@@aaronvasquez823 definitely agree, for them its a release, its a catharsis

Hahaha!! You bruised Destestor's ego.

Can't stand when ppl intentionally swing their arms on the people on the sides and in front. Like dude, aim towards the pit, that's what it's there for. Talking to you big guy in tank and shaved sides
crowdkilling bruh. some scenes like it, some don't. personally i don't mind it as long as people aren't getting hurt.
it's a part of the scene, it's not going anywhere
I agree, hardcoredancing is so fucking lame in my opinion. But yeah, who cares what I think.
That's Brody King from Gods Hate. Let him know next time you see him.
Alone in a Room breakdown goes disgustingly hard still
its like rage against the machine just met the grim reaper.
Looks like a bunch of epileptic kids trying to swim. But i enjoy it
Goddamn I've missed this type of music.
@Boof Lord Wow, its almost like... people are allowed to like different things than you... hmmmm

Damn Reba's vocals are fucking mad.
I know Reba uses an ESP viper, but what about the other guy?
He uses a Reverend Bayonet, he actually has a signature model out now which is pretty similar, if not the same.
Is that Brody King?
Anyone can help me to find the exactly pedalboard of Reba on this period? Thanks
Thank you
Back when Code Orange was actually good. Saw them last year and was cringing hard
Is that the lead singer of Knocked Loose that throws his hat off at the start of Slow Burn??
When he runs across the stage at the very beginning of the song, throws off his hat and front flips into the crowd...I know this is a very late observation, but this version of Nothing (The Rat) is my absolute favorite
Gileeee hatkorrr mulai brrmutasi...
Jami stop saying code orange and just play code orange
CODE ORANGE IS FOREVER
Just got back from seeing them in Detroit. Shit was INHUMANE

I'm pretty sure that's Brody King jumping up there in the first song.
7:26 sounds like jami has a ball in his mouth
What's the song name at 10:19?
"Slowburn"
whats the last song
Reba Meyers no longer plays pop rock at the bass in listening to Depeche Mode?
I'm shocked.
remember when this band was actually good?
Aren't they all like 18, 19 here? Fucking insane
I think maybe more like 20-21
11:48
