I remember playing with ganshed once which was the first time I ever saw the t0 warrior on a t0 ws tribe. We had a discussion about that after the match and after doing the math it actually seems like t0 wa is in many circumstances better than t0 ws
I agree that going for a ton of explorers is dumb but going for none is dumb as well. It's so easy to get surprise attacked in archipelago maps when you can't see out beyond your side of the map. I watched a Gully video yesterday where he just yoinked an Elyrion village because he could see them and they couldn't see him. They didn't have units in range to take it back. It was basically just gg.
In that game it was far too many explorers on one side. But the reason they lost was they became too sloppy because of the advantage Polaris gave them. Ai-mo went into the game too late to save the day.
great game; also it shows that new sea changes are for the better: in this old version here ship play is too static and slow; i was surprised aimoo vs south kickoo seems to be doing nothing, like an afk player
Aquarion, yadakk and southern kickoo are in the team dragons and polaris, ai-mo and other kickoo are in the team lightning, tehy said it at the start (like 1st minute or so, i think)
Diplomacy is allowed. Embassies are banned in 3v3 because it is too depending on spawn proximity. If players on the same team happen to spawn very close, they can get an embassy faster

Yes. Naval units and tactics are quite different in the game now

The best way to counter cymanti is getting riders and roads early. Hit the bugs before they get strong

Even though it is pre-Path of the Ocean, we thought it was a fun match up. We haven't posted a 3v3 yet
different versions allow different playstyles and strategies to be used which make it more interesting and fun imo

You mean like which player is controlling which tribe? We show the player information screen at the beginning
No like which tribe is on which team, not a major issue, but it could help
