How to Play Vertigo at a High Level in CS2

- This video I talk about basic map knowledge for T side vertigo, elaborating on the CT rotations as a main starting point. T side Vertigo is all about reading CT rotations, and CT side is all about being one step ahead of the T's and calling their bluffs.
Leave suggestions as to which map I should do next!
If you have any questions come stop by my stream at: / pol0

You're my newest favorite CS2 content creator. I enjoy your clear cut no bs delivery and simple breakdown of the map, introducing the concept of map theory etc. Keep on killing it!
Yupppp same
It’s that s1mple, I agree
I really enjoy these map breakdowns, I really want to learn how the maps actually work and how this game is supposed to be played in general so I can actually have a brain inside the server and maybe make a few calls to win a game. Thanks brother. Keep making more of these.
Very nice videos, man. The way u explain how to play maps is so clear and also helped me understand a lot of people even in 3k elo have no idea how to play the maps, when it comes to percentages I notice a lot of my teammates take very unnecessary not advantageous fights that loses us the rounds most of the time. So your explaining has helped me IGL A LOT
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Loving the new content
My brain just grew immensely. Thanks teacher!
I had such a hard time trying to find videos for the more optimal way to play X map, thanks for uploading these state of the art videos
I love these videos. I’ve been specifically looking for videos just like these and I feel like no one has well made updated ones
best CS2 content creator! I gained more map knowledge on Mirage and Vertigo as those are the maps I'm trying to focus on.
The quality of this content is absolutely amazing! So glad the algorythm pushed your vids to me. I played CS since 2000 and used to play on pretty high level in early versions being an IGL. I remember doing analyses myself and wondering why nobody ever made educational content like this. If anything this is how I imagined doing it myself if I was a youtuber. Big thumbs up and subscribed after just 1 video!
Thank you for these videos man they are exactly what I’ve been looking for
bro this series has been insane, top tier quality content, great work!
Quality advice and explained in a really digestible and calm way
Earned a subscriber, this was so well explained that a peanut brained 10k player like me understands everything, great job man!
Not only has the algorithm blessed me with a video that I’ve needed for over a year now but your content is also pogchamp af 😭
I watched one of your videos the other day and came back today to subscribe and you had already doubled in subs. Helpful videos, hope more people get to see them. Cheers mate
Wow dude keep them coming! 3 amazing videos in a day. Unheard of work ethic
Very good stuff thx man, helping a lot as a caller
i think vertigo is a very good map even everybody is kind of hate it ,it show how real cs works in a ez way:defult, map control, retake, info, rotation, number game, how to play everystep reasonable,etc.. everything will show more obvs and easier to understand bc the small size and the verticality of this map,if u can understand this map well u will learn other map much more easier,so if you want to play some serious cs,Vertigo will a perfect start, nice contect! much love😀
Loving the new series hope you can push out more content like this in preparation for the esea 49 ❤
Just found your channel yesterday, amazing content man. Please continue this series. SUbbed :)
i love these videos keep it up, cant wait for more content from you
I really like these breakdowns and they add a lot more perspective behind what we see in pro play. Just wish a lot of it could be more applicable in my solo q games
instant sub, i love this type of content
awesome breakdown looking forward to the Nuke one. Thank you
this video is insanely helpful, its hard to pick up map dynamics intuitively and having someone spell it out speeds up the process. Waiting patiently for your overpass video
I am blessed to see this video love how you talk about the game
These vids are great man keep it up
I don't know what to say, you're goat man. Keep it up! Already followed you on twitch, can't wait for my beloved map nuke!
The Mid smoke is very good. Thanks bro.
Absolute banger of a video, thanks (:
Ah, 15 minutes.. the amount of time I spend on the toilet. Perfect!
feeling smarter everyday, thanks polo!!!
Underrated content creator. You deserve much more exposure!
This thumbnail feels like a personal attack...
These are epic, great job m8
Can't wait for you to do Ancient!
even though it is not on the active pool, I hope you will cover dust2. It still remains my go to map for my daily unwind time
don't do that, man. your teammates will get mad at you for trying to play the game correctly. The only way your teammates will use their microphone is when they start flaming you. Its just impossible
This channel is cooking rn
sick vid m8
Damn no notification needed to be here early
What map is this with the grenade line ups? Is it on the community workshop?
You don't need to install anything, this is a built in feature of CS2. Simply click play, then on the top click practice, then on the left side, make sure you enable Grenade Camera, Infinite Ammo, and Infinite Warmup. It will show you the trajectory arcs of different grenade throws as well as a follow through cam to see where they land. No clipping through walls to see them quicker is a result of console commands (make sure Sv_cheats is enabled), but I hardly find this necessary in practicing my lineups
Great breakdown! I can recommend using some sort of visualization for certain points you're making, because it's sometimes hard to follow the exact rotations that you're using as an example. And it's easier to understand how you are thinking about the game.
This video is just as good as paying for a coach
Can't wait for your tips on ancient mid control lol
the videos are so high quality i thought you had at least 500k subs
This guy is a bean battler
Keep it up
For me the best map. Also on a ct I like peek crane to kill anyone rushing short and it is very effective most of the time.
Thank you captain!!! o7
my man changed my mood from doing chores to play cs in a vid drop
hes got the bean battles pfp its legit
Great vid pls do one for ancient, by far the map my crew struggles most on🙏🙏🙏

Cool vid. still have vert on permaban
Hey, i am currently at 8,5k elo and i want to improve on my Gameplay. Your Videos are great for the basic understanding how to play a map :) Greetings from Germany
I developed these skills on vertigo very early, so op im only lvl 8 but had 72% win rate on vertigo in csgo and 81% win rate in cs2
My son you make me so proud
What is the thing you are using that means you can see smokes and things floating in the air and what is it for? Thanks
Very fun and chaotic pug map but insufferable in higher level league play
Inferno: "very similar to mirage"
Vertigo: "very similar to mirage"
Really enjoying these, can't wait for overpass or ancient. I need lots of help on those. And the comparison to mirage :P
LMAO, I like comparing rotates and stuff to mirage because it’s usually something everyone understands. After I compare them I try to break down the reasons they’re similar and the reasons they’re not, but guess I’ve done that more than I realize LOL
@@Pol0cs oh yeah. It's a great strategy and makes noobs like me understand what your talking about. I know in my friendly play group there were a couple months we played ONLY mirage, in sure I'm not the only one. Definitely isn't a judgement on you. I just thought it was kinda funny. 👍
I actually like this because it makes connections in my head that maybe I would not have noticed otherwise
@@sethjones6778 Good, thats what I was aiming to do :D
Anubis or overpass next?
T's That grate is where games are won and lost on vertigo. If you and your team fake rotates, it can get very confusing for CT.
How do you setup those keybinds? Since they updated them
Lets goooo
My problem is that I don’t know how much is enough to force a rotation or how much I need to save in order to have enough utility for the push after the fake
How I like to look at it is try to put yourself in the other players' shoes. Do you think XYZ util would make you rotate, why and why not... ect. If you don't have a good reason for those questions, try to work out why that is. Basically theory'ing out scenarios and percentages.
overpass? liked and subbed C:
I love it, im alr lvl 10, but very helful
Instructions lost got shot through a wall by spinbot
First video and insta subscribe 🙂
Wow, 30 seconds and i had to stop that foookin video to text this sht and CLICK A BIGGEST LIKe and SUSCRIBE SERIOUSLy, THNKS BRO!GREETINGS FROM CHILE 🇨🇱
remember me when ur famous
Ancient next pls!!
can you do anubis next?!??!?!?! appreciate the content mate
I got u 🤝
what kind of pc do you have spec wise? 4ms on your screen is good
Right now I'm using a R9 5900x with 32gb of DDR4 and a 3060ti. Used to be insane in csgo but CS2 nerfed my pc so hard...
@@Pol0cs wow I have 5900x and 3080 and mine fluctuates wayyy more than yours does wtf
whats the random smokes in the air.... is that refrag or something ?
Ye it’s refrag
streets been askin for How to Play mirage connector at a High Level Bossman 🙏🙏
please use timestamps. great breakdown
Give me that knife dayum
Suggesting cyan gloves for you Doppler M9 💙
What map is it with these floating grenades
It’s called refrag, a subscription based server provider
do i have to pay for NADR
Please anubis next
Haven't you gotten like 2k subs since the mirage video?
Yeah it’s insane, the support for this series has been unreal 😤
Bro your content is gold, but dont post that often 😅 just kidding, but I havent watch inferno yet 😅
Overpass next please??🙏
If I can request a video, I’d like a video which discusses the idea of “noise control”. I notice pros all the time switching between knife and rifle, causing an audible noise - why? Why would you want your opponent to hear that?
The other team can’t hear you switch weapons :o
@@Pol0cs wait what. If you change knife to rifle, the enemy can’t hear that?
@@inthedistrict Nah 😅
it's nice to hear ur sexy voice again lol though it's on youtube ❤🔥
Do a video on fy_pool_day competitive play.
Who is the creator of this map?
hi
ct's be like pushing at when on t's be like camping ahahhaahhaha
Dont care, dodging 😊🤗. Fr tho i hate vertigo from the bottom of my hearth
I'm going to be honest good info but you are talking way too fast for any new players to understand all of this valuable information. I've played this game for 25 years and even I had to play this video at -50% speed to hear everything you said.
I thought the same thing when I was editing it, I’ll definitely try to slow it down in the next vid. Appreciate the feedback 👏
@@Pol0cs absolutely brotha. Great content and great analysis. I wish I was younger like 20 years and took cs more serious probably would have made something of it. 1.5 was my game the good old days
ecl mentioned 🤢
Bro what are you even saying lol
"Vertigo is very similar to Mirage"
Bruh. Vertigo is THE ANTI MIRAGE map
Very few next to no CT camping spots, extremely fast rotates (vs very slow rotates on Mirage), almost no AWP holding spots vs Mirage, small sites that can easily be taken by 1 player vs Mirage where you need the entire team to storm a site
There’s less choke points than mirage so you’re correct, the micro of how you go into a site is different. However, the rotates between sites are fast IF you run the rotate, but when you play against better players they don’t usually do that because the Ts will hear the rotate, and hit the bombsite you left open. I elaborate on this in the video, that is why the concept is very similar, even if it doesn’t look like it.
