    I have had the Direct Force Pro for a year now. I am very happy with it. I race most nights. It hasn't skipped a beat.

    Mate, nice review, but you should definitely check your ACC settings - at 6:46 the amount you turn does not match to the amount the wheel turns in the car and thats not how it should be. :)

    Vrs is a great great dorect drive base. Not my favorite wheels but the bases are amazing. There pedals are some of the best also tbh.
    I absolutely love there ffb implementation. Even if im using and went with the newer dd+.
    Your wheel though wasnt calibrated to well. The games turning was much further ahead then yours.
    Your wheel should always line up and or match the game display.

    Just a couple of comments for anyone getting the ASR Pro chassis, the motor connectors will only fit in the vertical up or down positions, and the down position is probably questionable. Second, get yourself an external power switch cord for the VRS controller box and just leave the VRS power switch ON at all times. There were reports of the units switch failing.

    There is also the Simagic alpha ultimate and it is rated at 23 Nm. If it’s anything like the other alpha bases it probably underrated by a couple nm as well.

    ive had my vrs for i think half a year now it also happens to be on an asr 3 to. the separate controller may be a down side to some it was kinda a saleing point for me as it makes it fairly easy to fix the only non of the shelf part is the control board but any diy board will be designed for the mige or you can try finding an osw/simucube 1 board for sale. im really planning on only crying once as ima try to use it for ever.

    Your rotation on the wheel bugs me extremely 😂 use the damn 1080 degrees 😊😊😊 otherwise great vid .. I myself stuck to csl dd , waiting for it as the budget only allows it and I’m on a wheel stand

    bro ASR prices are insane.
    I just got a moza R5 and I was afraid it wasn't going to be enough with all the youtubers saying you need 14-30, I dont know if I will ever get to feel that much but I just don't see it. the R5 has plenty of torque. If I do ever upgrade ill probably go the simagic mini route.

      Daniel morad (mercedes amg gt3 driver) has a sim racing TH-cam channel. He says force feedback torque around 12 to 13 Nm is what he feels in his GT3 car. He uses a simucube 2 pro but turns the FFB torque down to 13Nm.

    • @John_Rambo864
      @John_Rambo864 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes but it depends on what we wanna simulate. Indy car is around 25 NM in real life with sustained torque in long bends. I will get the simagic ultimate as it seems the bang for buck per nm and quality

    How has the VRS adapter held up? I've seen people recommend the SRC QR with Xero on top cause of potential sliding issues on the shaft.

    How do you like the base on the ASR 3 ? I've been looking to get the vrs and the asr3 but they say it's only good for up to 15nm , I rather get the asr3 then the next level up trying to save abit of money the upgrades just keep adding up 😅

    You just opened my eyes to the VRS DD
    Do you think vrs WB is more like equal to the simucube?
    And is it better than the simagic in term of the feeling of the details of the FB
    In fact, I am thinking of buying DD and I am confused what to buy
    Should I buy cheapest dd now like cammus lp8 or moza r9 and wait like two years for the simucube 3
    Or I should buy the alpha mini and see if i need more or not
    Or just buy the VRS DD if it’s like the simucube and better than the simagic
    But there isn’t many reviews for the VRS

    • @romeldris
      @romeldris  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hey! I'm sorry I didn't see this reply until now. I think still now the VRS is one of the best bang for bucks when it comes to the DD you get up to 20NM of forcefeedback for not much more than the alpha mini and you'll pay a lot more when going for the simucube with the same amount of forcefeedback. I do like the wireless features of the simucube but you'll need the wheels that support it as well to make use of it. The community and support is great if you ever run into any issues.
      I think the other thing to consider would be the wheels that you want to use, sim magic does have a few options that you'd be able to use and they're slightly cheaper and wireless.

    I've got the DD1 and I like to buy the VRS. I can see that u are using this to side profil to hold the base, I'm using the same, but where do u get this plade u attach the VRS to

    • @romeldris
      @romeldris  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I got it straight from AdvancedSimRacing! Since you have the side profile I think you may only need the Frount Mount Plate: www.advancedsimracing.com/products/wheel-deck-add-on-front-mount-plate
      The one I got was: www.advancedsimracing.com/products/wheel-deck-add-on-front-mount-dd-side-plates
      And looks like the front mount plate is at least in stock :)

    I've been eyeing this wheel base as well but how did you get the VRS from Advanced Sim Racing? seems like they're out of stock now

    • @romeldris
      @romeldris  ปีที่แล้ว

      I ordered it actually almost a year ago (just took me a bit longer to get this video done haha) but I did see it in stock when I was starting to put this together a few weeks ago but at the time I got the screen grab it was already OOS.

    • @matteobuda2940
      @matteobuda2940 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@romeldris Ah gotcha, yeah that's too bad they're out of stock now. Although it seems ordering from VRS directly is actually about the same price or less so that'd work too.
      Still tossing up options between this and the SC2 Sport but I hear the VRS ffb is more raw/detailed

    • @romeldris
      @romeldris  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think another thing to consider with the SC2 is that it does enable to use wireless wheels! The cable isn't much of an issue for me but one of those things where its more of a QOL improvement but not enough to make the $500ish difference worth it for me tbh
      I've heard that as well about the FFB but wouldn't be able to give any first hand experience.
      Also do you happen to be @Matteo on discord? I'm arconquit in that /r/simracing one if that's you!

    • @matteobuda2940
      @matteobuda2940 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@romeldris The wireless ability is nice but honestly they're quite pricey so I would probably skip them, maybe DIY wireless wheels would be a good reason though. I haven't tried a wired wheel yet but I don't think I'd mind the cable. The price difference if you buy from local resellers is big like you mentioned $500, so I'd agree but on digital motorsports it only comes out to $1450 which is $200 more which is what makes this a close call.
      Yeah that's my Discord tag! I think I've seen yours on the server too didn't realize that was you haha
