- Giant Bicycles is the biggest cycling brand in the world. In 2024 it is the bike sponsor of Australia's two WorldTour teams - Jayco AlUla and Liv AlUla Jayco. I caught up with Tom Davies shortly after he arrived in Australia to see the Giant, Liv and Cadex brands in action during the Tour Down Under.
We talk about the state of the cycling market, how important pro cycling is for the promotion of the brands he manages, Giant / Liv's association with Gerry Ryan - the owner of the teams, and how the sponsorship / partnership came about.
This is part of a series of videos from #TDU2024.

Keep up the wonderful work, really enjoyable, thanks
Fantastic interview Rob. Great partner for "GreenEdge". May it continue for many years.

Nice bike look colour 👍👍👍
That National colorway on the Liv is beautiful.
Any chance of a peek of the TT bikes you will be using this year.
I've lost count how many TCRs and XTC mtn bikes I've had since I first laid eyes on the original Mike Burrow's metallic blue TCR on my LBS floor all those years ago. Still think Giant makes some of the nicest, sharpest looking bikes in the pro-peloton
There is the joke that every bike now looks like a 2010 TCR except pinerello
I would buy that propel if I could get that color scheme
I like the shape of that Propel, more traditional looks. Still not a fan of disc brakes though.
