Is there a method for drawing ellipses when you need to draw a large precise ellipse? I can draw them by hand roughly accurate, but if you are drawing a old fashioned water well, in three points perspective, from above. You need to draw multiple ellipses for the block work, and they need to be identical.if you are doing this for an animated fly over, you would have to redraw it probably first at a 20° ellipse set, then increment for the next frame. This requires a lot of exact ellipses. If you are drawing at a size larger than your template, there must be a way to do so.
Things to Sketch - Hand- held objects Like..Toy Trains, Toy Army Tanks and Trucks, Toy Insects/ Bugs , Hot Wheels Cars......... Please start out with Orthographic views.

Yeah, it's called a compass...Believe it or not, artists use them.
