Notice how the growl at 9:27 against a regular tree sentinel is very reminiscent of the growl he did at chat when he fought the draconic tree sentinel? He was in the process of transforming this whole time and we were just too blind to see. What a psycho.

That bar bit never gets old. Us viewers might get desensitized to the madness sometimes but putting it in the context of an ordinary setting suddenly reminds you of how batshit he/we all are
I mean keeping up the fantasy of a streamer like Jerma ACTUALLY EXISTING between several thousand people is pretty impressive

Jack is turning into the fine wine of edits for jerma
All of his edits come out multiple months after the steams since he switched to actually working for jerma. This is his second upload after being dormant for two years. I guess that makes him fine wine, you have to wait forever to enjoy it? To me cheltie kinda just destroyed me looking forward to any Jack edit.
@@ziggle5000 I mean you're not wrong completely, it's just cheltie focuses on getting them out, but jack has a lot more meat and bones and plus he's also adding a lot more to the editting so it's not just following in cheltie's footsteps.
Plus different edittors focus on different things, so yeah, it's always fun to see the different perspectives each time too, so dont be too picky with your youtubers, since there's like a decent variety that all do different stuff on jerma, such as pyrothanoc and skye4.

Gorgeous edit! I really loved the varied timing of the death counter to match the content, and the general pacing was fantastic. I also liked the snap zooms, it really helps draw attention correctly and makes a nice distinction between this format and the stream. My only problem with this was that the subtitles often had quite poor grammar. Almost every time a word ended with an s, there was an apostrophe. For example, the name Tails does not have an apostrophe. I think the subtitles in general can be powerful when used sparingly, when you need to draw attention to the speech of a clip. For example, a great use was for “casualmancy”, where someone watching the video without chat would likely require the actual word written down to fully understand the joke. Also, subtitle pacing is really important. Keep in mind where a joke starts and ends, and make sure that the punchline is given its own subtitle. For example at 29:30, the “DO IT I AM KING” muddies the punchline (being the line “I AM KING”) by including it alongside the ending of the set up.
Anyways, I really enjoyed this edit and I only write so much because I genuinely think this has something different going for it that I haven’t seen in some other edits. You seem to get the pacing really well, and that’s really difficult to do. Good job and can’t wait for the next one!

I rebinded my keys so that it's more traditional - square for light attack, triangle for heavy attack, circle to interact, x to jump, R1 for dodge, R2 for weapon art, L1 for power stance and L2 for off hand/shield. Feels way better for me than L1 L2
