I’m surprised you still have tomatoes mine are all done and frozen. My carrots 🥕 were attacked by caterpillars 🐛 so I harvested them all. 😂 my pepper plant has flowers too but sadly we had pants pepper 🫑 production. Great update guys it’s all done well, Ali 🌞☔️🇨🇦
I find the Cheery Falls variety can go longer into the year, they are just about hanging on. I'm hoping to get another round from those that are under cover however I'm not that hopeful for the bigger variety (Alicante) ripening now that the temps are falling.
Yeah first real frost was on Friday. I though that the Cheery Falls variety that are not under cover would get caught by the frost but they seemed to escape any further damage. I'm not sure how long they will last but I'm hopeful for another round from those that are under cover.

i had gooseberry bushes but the bloody sawfly attacked them all...
1 of the gooseberry bushes suffered this year from that but also some of the red currants.
