  • CHRISTMAS MACARONS PEPPERMINT // Peppermint macarons are a great Christmas macaron recipe. These are holiday macarons your friends and family are sure to love! Try the swiss method which in my opinion is the best and easiest for macaron beginners to use. This easy step-by-step macaron recipe will walk you through how to make peppermint macarons and show different ways to decorate your shells.     RECIPE - From Sugar Bean
    Shell:
    190 grams Almond Flour
    170 grams Powdered Sugar
    160 grams Egg Whites
    150 grams Granulated Sugar
    6 grams Dried Egg White Powder (amzn.to/2SwwDHb)
    Bake @ 300 F or 150 C at 14 minutes. (You may need to adjust times or temperature depending on your oven. This is a good place to start if this is your first time making macarons.)
    Peppermint Filling:
    2 sticks of Salted Butter
    350 grams Powdered Sugar
    2 -4 tbsp Whole Milk
    1 1/4 tsp Peppermint Extract

    I like this recipe and what you did, a suggestion is next time add crushed peppermint inside the macaron in the middle of it.

    Great video! I'm been working on perfecting the macaron since March! I'd love to see how full your macaron shells are. I've had many shells that look as perfect as yours do, but once they cool, they get somewhat hollow. Do you experience this? If not perhaps you could show a video on how to get full macarons.
