@9:00 Ich bin auf dem Bahnhof. (Platz+ wo? + dativ) Ich wohne auf dem Land. (Platz +wo? + dativ) Exception? You teach : Die Kinder sind am Spielplatz. Aber das Bahnhof, Land sind ja auch Platz oder?
i was so confused about when you asking about for the word Wohin particular in the person you said you will used Akkusativ? not Dativ because Dem, Der and Dem is Dativ form on Definite Articles.
@ 2:25 isn't die Zugspitze supposed to be in Nomanativ in the sentence give? Since dativ is indirect object whereas there is no object at all in the sentence other than the noun(moutain)?
How can you decide Who is Dativ and Wohin is Accusative? Is there any video for it? And Dem is a Dativ proposition, how can you use it for Accusative ( Zum Onkel)
hii , your vedio helped me a lot and can you please explain , what is the difference in meaning between these sentences " ich bin in der bank / post " und " ich bin auf der bank / post" . in which situation "in" is interchangable with " auf " ??????
Are all mountains in German treated grammatically like the Zugspitze ? I mean , do they all have feminine gender article ? How can i say i went to the Himalayas/ or Everest last year ?
Ich gehe zum Spielplatz. Ich gehe auf den Spielplatz. Both mean "I go to the playground" With the preposition "zum" till the playground, "auf den" would show on the playground. The same difference as in "zum Restaurant" and "ins Restaurant" - this is explained here in detail: th-cam.com/video/uUp_qEtX6sk/w-d-xo.html
thank you soooooo much for your reply . after seeing the vedio of link , i came to some conclusion and with few questions . (1) we can say 'Ich muss erst in die Bank' if you are standing in front of or very close to the bank. But if you are at home, people would most likely say "Ich muss erst zur Bank." This indicates that you are first driving to the bank and then going inside. (2) is all the points in (1) are agree by auf and zu . now my question is * is it right to use (( ich gehe auf den spielplatz )) if you are standing in front of or very close to the spielplatz . But if you are at home, people would most likely say "Ich gehe zum Spielplatz ." This indicates that you are first driving to the spielplatz and then going inside/ on to spielplatz . i request you to say that all (2 ) is right ((((((( or ))))) even sitting at home we can say (( ich gehe auf den spielplatz )) . i am really sorry , if i am asking worst / useless doubts . but please , if you feel this is an usefull doubt , i beg you to explain in detail .
hello, could you please help me with this? How can I know if Dativ/ Akkusativ artikel to be used for the prepositions? Secondly, please let me know if my understanding is right? in case of questions with "Wohin", preposition+ Akkusativ artikel and in case of "Wo",preposition+ Dativ is prefered. If wrong please correct me. Thank you! :)
That really makes me disappointed during German learning... (auf der zugspitze) ...(auf die zugspitze) ..how can I feel such language... Ihr means (you in nominative ) and means her and their ....etc in dative and genitive ..I am sad :( ... anyway thank you.. I think that I have to study a little bit more and I will be used for it.. I hope so
@ 10:56 in the wohin column you have used dativ articles but the column heading says "wohin? (akkusativ)". I think it should be"wohin? (dativ)"?
Well wohin always takes akkusativ, the dativ article used here is because of preposition Zu and not Wohin
This is a very good explanation about wo/wohin. Thank you very much for your effort in making this fantastic Video.
Thank you so much!
Finally prepositions started to add up in my mind . 🙏🏻💖
I love you and love the way you pieces German. Compairing you with all the online German teachers, like jenny, anja, you are simply the best.
You are right, I find anja very confusing and disorganized
Ich danke „learn german“ für mein Studium auf Deutsch
Vielen Dank für den Video. 👏😊
very difficult but nice explanation
@9:00
Ich bin auf dem Bahnhof. (Platz+ wo? + dativ)
Ich wohne auf dem Land. (Platz +wo? + dativ)
Exception?
You teach : Die Kinder sind am Spielplatz.
Aber das Bahnhof, Land sind ja auch Platz oder?
I could not understand well when the advertisement interrupted me by 40 times!
Use VPN in Syria. No ads whatsoever
I found out that "zu" is exceptional preposition! In spite of action, "zu" + dative is correct. Thank you very much!
You are mots welcome :) Zu always takes Dativ
the best video ever for those damn prepositions !

How can you decide Who is Dativ and Wohin is Accusative? Is there any video for it? And Dem is a Dativ proposition, how can you use it for Accusative ( Zum Onkel)
For person ,wohin is not with akkuzativ but with dativ.
Ich denka du hast falsch in personen artikel gemacht. Mit akkusative können wir zur oma oder zu Oma sagen?
Can you , please, make a video about Worauf, Darauf, wofür, dafür.....and so on? Maybe you made it but I can't find it. Thank you!!!!
Yes, certainly, we have added this topic to our list.
I hope u can provide english Translation that makes Screenshots including Notes of ur explanation
Vielen dank 👌🖒
Thank you so much once again ❤👏
Do we have imperative videos madam
Could you explain why we should say "ich bin auf den Malediven"? Is it because Maldives are islands so we should say i'm on the Maldives/islands
... for Spielplatz in Wo fragen .. should it be > Ich bin auf dem Spielplatz.???
Ja genau, auch richtig!
hii , your vedio helped me a lot and can you please explain , what is the difference in meaning between these sentences " ich bin in der bank / post " und " ich bin auf der bank / post" . in which situation "in" is interchangable with " auf " ??????
Hi, "in der Bank" and "auf der Bank" mean the same. :-) We will soon make a video on the preposition "in" and "auf"
Danke
hello , i am a bit confused why did you use "die sugspitze" and not "der berg" to demonstrate the use of wo and wohin ?
why confused?
Dankeschön!
Are all mountains in German treated grammatically like the Zugspitze ?
I mean , do they all have feminine gender article ?
How can i say i went to the Himalayas/ or Everest last year ?
can you please explain the difference between these sentence ; (( ich gehe zum Spielplatz )) UND (( ich gehe auf dem Spielplatz))
Ich gehe zum Spielplatz.
Ich gehe auf den Spielplatz.

Hi
Wo- dativ (zu-dativ)
Wohin- akk
In akkusativ der-:den
Aber warum kommt zum onkle? Der onkel (akk+den),zu -dativ. Ich nicht verstehel
zu ist eine Dativ-Präposition.
I am in ‘the’ Maldives (not I am in Maldives) : )
Ich möchte von einem deutschen Kollegen wissen, ich komme aus Algerien
hello, could you please help me with this? How can I know if Dativ/ Akkusativ artikel to be used for the prepositions? Kann ich auch "ich bin bei der Party" sagen, oder?
Normalerweise sagt man immer "auf der Party"
ok. Danke. Meine Lehrerin hat mir "bei" gesagt. Ich spreche mit ihr noch einmal. Danke.
