I've watched so many videos this weekend after finding your channel and I can't stop!! The candy making process is so labor intensive--- I had no idea! My dad was a great baker and I watched him handcraft pastries and cakes my whole life. It's so fun and interesting to watch you make everything by hand, really takes me back to living at home and being around family. I actually found this channel searching for vegan videos and stumbled across Craig's channel. I'll be ordering some vegan candy soon!
Yeah our vegan candy has been flying off the shelves, my favorites are the vanilla drops and the chocolate covered marshmallows

Hercules Candy where I used to work had 4 Ashleys ... on both sides of the building, where we shared a walkie system ... similar sounding names are also a joy ... yeah sometimes communications there was an absurdist comedy
Those few moments of steve stirring the candy in the pot after momdre added the flavoring is exactly what i look like when my manager walks by at work and i wasnt doing anything, so i grab the nearest thing to look busy.
but in all seriousness, another awesome video! im sure the candy man and momdre are super tired after all this hard candy and brittle. I hope everyone has a good chance to rest!

Craig, watching these videos that progress throughout the day as they make candy is so much fun. I have enjoyed watching them wake up. Lol. Steve and Terry both get funnier as the day progresses until it gets to the last batch, maybe the last 1.5 batches they start slowing down. I can't imagine how tired they must be. Thanks for all the awesome videos they are so awesome to just unwind to. On a second note you all should totally offer subscription boxes similar to Tokyo treat, munch pack and so on. You could reach a larger audience and have price points of like 15 25 and 35 for a premium box! People would get to try a bunch of awesome homemade seasonally changing candies and I know that makes me want a box. Keep up the awesome work!
We do 80 pound batches where I work. 23 lbs sounds a dream! My arms are killing me. All we make is sugar free health lollipops. We average 25 batches a day between shifts. There's definitely a big market for that stuff ;)

I always loved going to my Grandmother's house at Christmas. The bowl of ribbon candy was so magical. I confess...I always snuck a few pieces before dinner was served. It is such a beautiful candy.

I was so surprised at how that little amount of dark green colour/flavour seeped into the larger amount of candy mix. I am "hooked" at the skill involved, you make it appear easy and I am sure it is not.

I think he just has Resting Dad Face. Also, it's the busy season, so he has a lot to do.
He honestly sounds like he's suffering from depression. Not emotional, but chemical depression, as he's showing quite a few of the symptoms. Either that, or he's an alcoholic, which has similar symptoms since alcohol is a depressant. The movements and responses are rather slow, and the speech slightly drawn out and slurred. Something aint right.
Depressed or not, good intentions on your part or not...it is none of your business.
Family members might not notice if the imbalance came on slowly, and especially guys may never complain. Its nothing to be ashamed about, anymore than getting a cold. Just gotta take medicine for it.

LOL The close up of the candy on the marble table looks like feathers are all through it, so cool. I love how the candy has a silky sheen after being on the hook, Its so pretty the two shades of green & one being translucent, nice contrast to the Ribbon Candy.
