I was at this gig. Cameras / phones were banned although a few rogue ones made it in. We were on holiday from Uk and the gig announcement was perfect timing for when we were there. We basically had to go for a meal at Hard Rock on a specific day and tney gave us tickets once you paid. An incredible gig
Their singer and lead guitar player got onstage with my band and jammed two songs with us at a club a while back. They were super nice guys and our crowd was stunned. i got to go home and tell my 7 year old son that his daddy got to jam with his favorite band...he loved it!!!
Joseph Dialogo It will, it's just a question of when. The world was super-saturated with the stuff for more than 10 years starting around 1994, so it takes time for music fans to move away from it, find something else to do (like get jobs and try to have their own lives!) then go back to it later on, starting a revival. When it does happen, the old-school fans will be much older, and have been through it before, so it won't blow their minds like it did when they were young. Punk music will probably be around forever, it's not going away any time soon, and kickass bands are still around (Broadway Calls!!!) It's just unlikely that there will ever be another Dookie, Smash, or Wolves because that WAS the approximate beginning of the whole punk-revival-goes-big-time thing, and it's already been done. It's always been around, though.
listen, punk has many sub genres ayt? one of AAR's genres is pop punk. therefore, they still connected to punk. don't call me idiot also. respect. not everybody has some broad knowledge about everything lmao
yea pop punk is very diff from actual punk hahaha. But I used to think bands like this were punk when I was in middle school. but yea punk is sex pistols, misfits, rancid, dead kennedys, etc.
It's so awesome that I found this! One of the greatest memories that I have is of sitting at the Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio with a bunch of friends and this song came on! Good times!
Hello from Indonesia, I love this song lately but Tyson’s voice always run around in my head everynight. I actually like punk music and nevermind pop music, so this song bring my memory back as a young man in junior classroom
I agree your explaination, it's very true, and I'm a huge fan of AAR, even though I'm only 13, adn i also hope that their band will be famous again!!!!
I just saw them last night, and Tyson did play the base for a few of the songs and while the rest of the band was taking a break Tyon and their base player now came out and did these rockin base solos and songs it was wesome
oh dude I was so obsessed from them last year in 2008 but since they got more famous here in germany (and europe I think) I haven't really listen to them... there are now so many wannabe fans just liking Gives You Hell (where I even think that this is one of their worse songs) last year where I was so obsessed I loved especially their early performances during the time of their first album and I still adore this time the most! I rather watch these awesome performances. Great stuff!
The Hard Rock performance in 2003 is pure energy and really awesome. I love the first album as much as nothing else. It's just perfect, and they weren't that famous and just new. Since Move Along they gained fame, which is good, but their behaviour changed aswell. And since the third album, in the Gives You Hell performances Ty looks really weird and like he's on drugs. But he's still my fav singer, I just love the time before their second record so much.
The truth Is that people do like different music. I like AAR, but also anything from classical to (very limited) heavy metal. Just because that this doesn't appeal to everyone on TH-cam isn't because the song sucks. So listen to what you feel like listening to. No one's stoppin you. Don't try to stop them.
yes ik it annoys me when teens are always holding up their stupid iphones only to then upload it on there twitter or snap chat or whatever teens go on these days.
Well I record two songs but then I Jam out to the rest of songs I don't post them at all but if something interesting happens I might post it like a tribute

Fucking soooooo lucky. I love this time. lol
Their singer and lead guitar player got onstage with my band and jammed two songs with us at a club a while back. They were super nice guys and our crowd was stunned. i got to go home and tell my 7 year old son that his daddy got to jam with his favorite band...he loved it!!!
Crazy how you commented this 14 years ago now
Well, it was cool…and I’m old, I repeat myself a lot. Hard to believe it’s been that long ago, though…time flies I guess.
@@curtisclark13 ultimate dad lore 💪
But you know how kids are, he was excited for 5 whole minutes then it was over. 😐
This is fucking 100 perfect performance....that crowd was blessed to be there
There are barely phones in the crowd, just pure rocking, those were the days :(
Wet Balls lmao, what phones were there back then that could record video?
Clearly youre too young to remember the Moto Razr lol
The end of an era, really...
The era of punk gives enlightenment... Hopefully punk will rise again. Not pop...

+Joseph Dialogo this isnt even remotely punk..idiot...listen to the sex pistols

It's not that different, honestly. The mentality is, but other than that, the sound can be VERY similar depending on the band.
woah! I hope the music of early 2000 comes back, the punk genre, alternative. and etc. Miss those times :)
It’ll come back history repeats itself. Hopefully I’ll be the first
I really love how they can sing live FOR REAL. He doesn't only sound good when his voice is all changed and fixed, he is truly talented. :)

Before everyone was on their phones at concerts all the fucking time
Why are people so triggered over that? I find nothing wrong with it.
It feels good knowing my generation is the last to truly know what its like to rock out at a concert without phones everywhere.
I just saw them perform this live. They were awesome.
I never really thought about it but now that i do, i really love AAR's old stuff better than their new stuff.

You dumbass! Your saying kids spend to much time on the Internet but look at where you posted your comment.
Yeah, don't worry. I didn't record any of Tyson Ritter when I saw the All-American Rejects. He sucks now. It was really disappointing.
Well I record two songs but then I Jam out to the rest of songs I don't post them at all but if something interesting happens I might post it like a tribute
AlceusRydanx ikr the 2010s ruined society I wish we had the 2000s back
