Aretha and Mariah were both very impressed by Kelly Clarkson and those aren't two women known for handing out compliments to just any old singer! I remember Simon telling her on Idol that her performances put her in a league with Celine and Mariah and I don't think he was far off. And don't get me started on versatility. I've heard her sing every style of music from rock to country to jazz and broadway and she sounded like she was a master of each genre..WHO can match that?

Jessi does a lot of demo work for Dianne Warren too. Jessi said she doesn't know of another female artist that would let their backing vocalist have the position she does. Jessi does all of the vocal arrangements for the kellyokes.

Jessi Collins is her vocal director and background singer they have been together for over 11 years, in the Vegas residency the two actually done a duet together the man I'll never find (lucius). As Kelly has always said her band is the reason she has been successful. Unlike many she isn't afraid to highlight their talents.
Loved this. Kelly, her band and vocalist are just brilliant. The chemistry and respect they all have is rare in music it just is. More about fame and $$ Kelly has never been about that and surrounded herself with like minded people. Thanks 👍
