I really enjoyed the video Andy! I found it clear and super easy to follow. Since I'm a fan of co-operative games, something I do is ask Ss to put a small object each on a fcard within a time limit (instead of seeing who is first to hit it.)
Hey, if they are absolute beginners with little grasp of their own language, a lot of the class will simply be them repeating what you say and copying your actions. For each activity just show them step by step what you would like them to do. The key is to allow them to learn English without even realising they are!

How do you teach this to kids with no foundation. Kids who can’t even speak their native dialect but is brought in to learn English?

Andy - The ESL Guy Exactly what I do but I have my way of doing it with gestures and body language as well. I also use other games too
