This series is exactly what ASMR used to be for me before ASMR was a thing… just a really quiet documentary that I would stumble across on PBS or some basic cable channel. Before documentaries tried to be cool with music and quick takes. Love this so much.

I didn't know what it was, but I would save certain documentaries because the voices and/or the sounds would give me scalp tingles, and I didn't know why. I just knew I liked it. So I would save certain ones so that I could watch them again when I needed to feel relaxed.

Also the low budget shows with hair cuts or working in something, in my country we had a channel back in the 90's called "utilisima" (very handy) and all the shows where super tingly, I used to put that channel and sleep

I never even imagined so many detailed, specific steps were necessary in order to ‘simply’ have an object on display. It’s very interesting and satisfying work I believe
P.S. And how could I forget- the fact that this is an ASMR format is even more perfect!

Hi! Hopeful future archeologist/historian here! Question: For those who wish to possibly go into the archival, care taking and restoration work what advice would you have? I'm currently in my first year back at university after a break and I'm studying history and archeology but the love of museum work I had over my break and the preservation work I did I fell in love with caring for these beautiful items I was privy to! Any advice your team might be willing to bestow upon me I would greatly appreciate!
