Mine is great. Everything works perfectly. Never had a used car like that. One issue many of these have is they rumble at some point, but its just a motor mount like 150 dollars. I fixed that and now she runs like new. Great car.

just picked up my moms 2005 zx4 cause my 2014 focus is acting up again after the 3rd transmission clutch replacement. just paid the POS off too... 2005 has 246,000 miles on it and it still runs great no hesitation doesn't burn oil. all electronics work. Only issue is. That the driver side door locks on its own. when i go to unlock it with the key fob. it quickly unlocks and locks. I have to pull the handle out half way to catch it when it unlocks to get in. going to check grounding wires tomorrow to see whats up with that.

Great vehicle although as they get older the plastic parts start to break and that's kind of a nuisance
These are really nice cars. I have no idea WHY ford got rid of them. But if I had to guess, it would probably be because everyone is leaning towards trucks or SUVs. Nice review!
The Focus lineup are compact legends. I guess corporate greed led Ford to make them more disposable over the years, until they completely scrapped the model. I hope one day, Ford brings the Escort/Focus back like they did with Broncos, but make them better.
