Some details about the movie characters and Historical back story :
Originally Alluri Sita Rama Raju went into forests for helping tribals, actually used to wear Saffron clothing and used bow & arrows resembling Hindu god "RAM" (was also a sharp shooter) It was his approach to stand as a symbol of inspiration for tribals to revolt (known as Rampa Rebellion, with motto "Mande Rajyam" which translates to.. Ours is this kingdom) against British in Visakhapatnam agency. (Some believe that Alluri Rama Raju taking "Sanyas" (divine way of living) after death of his love Sita, was the reason for his Saffron attire). Sita really was his lover's name and after her death he changed his name from Alluri Rama Raju to Alluri Sita Rama Raju.
Born in the West-Godavari (a district of present Indian state Andhra Pradesh), in a Telugu Kshatriya family to Alluri Venkata Rama Raju and his wife Suryanarayanamma, after his parents died (when he was 12) was raised by his uncle Rama krishnam Raju. He was a well educated, civilized man who felt that the tribals are the ones being suppressed the most by british, and went to forests and dedicated his entire life for helping them fight british, although wasn't a tribal himself.
He used to do guerilla raids on British police stations (after informing & challenging them that he's going to come & attack and stop him if they can) and collect guns & weapons, using an army of armed tribals by training them.
It's said that it costed more than a million even in those days, for the british to finally find and execute him. They killed Rama Raju unethically while he's unarmed, performing a morning Prayer.
Komaram Bheem, a tribal himself from gond tribes of Adilabad (a district of the present Indian state "Telangana") is rumoured to be an extremely strong man, and to hunt a tiger by himself. He used to wear muslim disguises during his revolt against Nizam. He died fighting the Nizam's of Bhagyanagaram (Present day Hyderabad)
In Telugu states (Andhra, Telangana) everyone knows these things, maybe not in other states. They were referred as Sri Ram and Bheemasen (since long back before the movie even existed !!) from their names and features (Rama Raju's- Saffron Attire, his lover's name is "Sita", went to forests and made an army using tribals, man of extreme commitment, Komaram Bheem- Physical strength, Crude attacking nature, Perseverance) being similar to characteristics of Lord Ram from Ramayanam and Bheem from Mahabharatam and out of the level of reverence they've achieved from people.
Both left their homes almost in the same period and then returned after some time and started their revolutions against British and Nizam respectively. After returning home, Rama Raju started wearing Saffron clothing till the day he died fighting for tribals, and Bheem came back as an educated man and started his rebellion with motto.. Jal, Jangal, Jameen.. with translates to Water, Forest & Soil..
As no one has a clear idea about what happened to them in that period when they left, and what made them become revolutionaries.. the movie writer wrote a Fictional story that they met and became friends and Bheem was the one who gave Rama Raju a Saffron attire and that he got educated himself from Rama Raju, connecting everything that was remembered in telugu people hearts.. if we see carefully, we can see all these details used in the movie clearly.. The mythological references are used in bgms.. as these freedom fighters are actually revered by referring them as Lord Sri Rama and Bheemasen.. in many parts of Telugu states...
    Other details :
-Also The Indian Flag used throughout the movie was the older Berlin Committee Flag (designed by Madame Bhikaji Cama, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Shyamji Krishna Varma) corresponding to the time period.
(Current Indian flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya, also from Telugu land)
-Rama Raju is also referred by people as "Manyam Dhora".. which translates to King/Chief of the Wild Forests and Komaram Bheem is praised as "Gondu Bebbuli".. which translates to Ferocious Tiger of Gond tribes. These names are also referred in the Original (Telugu) movie version on zee5. The one in Netflix is Hindi dubbed (bollywood) version.
-The bike used by Bheem was the older world war version which were designed lightweight for men to lift and carry them when required.
-Names of Freedom fighters shown in the rrr movie ending song & which indian state they belong to & their language :
-Subhash Chandra Bose (state west bengal/ orissa, language Bengali)
-Sardar Vallabhai Patel (state Gujarat, language Gujarati)
-Kittur Rani Chennamma (state Karnataka, language kannada)
-V.O.Chidambharam pillai (state Tamil nadu, language Tamil)
-Bhagat Singh (state Punjab, language Punjabi)
-Tanguturi Prakasam panthulu (also RRR Heroes Alluri SitaRama Raju & Komaram Bheem) (state Andhra, language Telugu)
-Varma Pazhassi Raja (state Kerala, language malayalam)
-Chatrapathi Sivaji (state Maharashtra, language Marathi)

The way they beat Bheem in front of the crowd has hidden details. If you look at it closely, before coming out of the van , they show Bheem from behind , like Jesus Christ on the cross. And the wooden beam was shown from the top angle and it is clearly visible as a Cross.
The beating sequence is portrayed completely how Jesus was tortured before the end. And finally Ram carries him like Jesus carrying the cross ✌🏼
And during Bheem's introduction scene, the police man to British guy tells about Bheem, there were references like Shepherd and Sheep which is from Bible.
Bheem was a Hindu. But he played as Muslim to find Malli and portrayed as Jesus in the second half. The writer covered 3 different religions in India ✌🏼✌🏼

@@sharadkasera9925 Bheem was portrayed as 'Bheem' from Mahabharat. That's why he is so strong and always eating. You could notice him directly going to kitchen and started taking food and eating when he meet Ram in his house. In Mahabharat, Bheem is a son of Vaayu. i.e., Vaayu putra. And Lord Hanuman is also a Vaayu Putra. So in the climax, Bheem was portrayed as Hanuman. I was very surprised to see how the creator played with all the connections. 😀
And in the above sequence I mentioned, it is so clear that he portrayed Jesus. S S Rajamouli is a fan of Mel Gibson. And he might have used this torturing scene as a fan boy moment to Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ Movie.

Been enjoying watching "Ms. Marvel" with her and the rest and really enjoying whenever she's on the couch. • @dr.khwajarafi9464
    @dr.khwajarafi9464 ปีที่แล้ว +25

Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR:
    1) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍
    2) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
    3) The sets u can see in nacho nacho or naatu naatu song, the palace behind is actually President's palace in Ukraine..After finishing the movie n returning to india, war was started in ukraine....
    4) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence....
    5) That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing....
    6) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
    7) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
    8) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the most convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect....
    9) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything....
    10) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there r mythological references to the movie for sure but its not just sree ram's avatar, its actually the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead by britishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear...
    11) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies,
    a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
    c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
    d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....
Rajamouli in an interview said in Hollywood movies they get to use very expensive cameras n equipment to get these kind of shots coz they have such huge budgets, but to attempt such shots in limited budget we hv to innovate things (jugaad) to get these shots for a minimal budget... One such innovation is using laser lights to represent animal's head movements, he took the help of IT students to place laser lights where required..
Rajamouli says the reason y most of the times we fail to get the animal shots right is animals in real life move at a fast speed any human could imagine, first we shoot the humans part n then we animate animals, so humans imagine animal coming towards them n act accordingly, but in his imagination animal moves slowly, so while animating animator has to slow down the animal's movements to keep sync with human's reactions, ultimately making the animal move slow, which looks fake for us, for this film what he did is he animated animal shots first n then placed laser lights on the set to reflect animals moving n then shot the scenes... He literally made humans run faster n faster, even in the making video named "Roar of RRR" we can hear him screeming "faster, faster" to Jr.NTR while shooting his intro scene😂😂
For that fire crackers scene he could hv done everything in CG but he chose to go with real fire crackers placed on threads, n later on he enhanced it in CG... There was even a mishap where one fire cracker changed its course n went so close to Ram charan's eye, later in an interview Ram charan jovially said that he was looking for the thread after the scene, he was scared later on realising that there was no thread beside his eye😂😂😂.. Rajamouli explains that we should get 80% of the shot by using real props (fire, smokes, wires, miniatures, fire crackers, water hoses etc), then we should enhance it by CG, if we do everything on CG it looks fake...

    • @AT-rr2xw
      @AT-rr2xw ปีที่แล้ว +5

Netflix tends to skip past the interval breaks, which can mess up the pacing with a forced transition. It is not the only streaming service to do that, but it seems to do it the most consistently. I am not sure why removing the interval is done in the first place or if it is also done for old Hollywood epics, but it seems to me like a regular practice with Indian movies that I have seen with intervals.

Ram Charan sir and NT Rama Rao jr . These two individuals movie alone are very good . Combined then with awesome screen play , writting , and the best director S.S Rajamoli ( like Sam Raimi , a great director ,for reference had in my mind ) and voila you get RRR the perfect beast of a movie . It took over 5 years to make this i guess . The set is unreal . The dialogues are insane . This actually probably broke that already huge record and made more box office collection. Let's go Love the reaction Normies . Great job with bringing Navi , she helped get you many cultural regional references.

Some details about the movie characters :
Originally Alluri Sita Rama Raju, wasn't a tribal himself. he when into forests for helping tribals, he used to wear Saffron clothing and used bow & arrows (was also a sharp shooter) resembling Hindu god "RAM". It was his approach to stand as a symbol of inspiration for tribals to revolt (known as Rampa Rebellion, with motto "Mande Rajyam" which translates to..
He used to do guerilla raids on British police stations (after informing them that he's going to come & attack, and challenging them to stop him if they can) and collect guns & weapons, using an army of armed tribals by training them.
It's said that it costed more than a million even in those days, for the british to finally find and execute him. They killed Rama Raju unethically while he's unarmed, performing a morning Prayer.
Komaram Bheem, a tribal himself from the Gond tribes of Adilabad (a district of the present Indian state "Telangana") is rumoured to be an extremely strong man, and to hunt a tiger by himself. He used to wear muslim disguises during his revolt against Nizam. He died fighting the Nizam's of Bhagyanagaram (Present day Hyderabad, Capital city of Telangana)
In Telugu states (Andhra, Telangana) everyone knows these things, maybe not in other states. They were referred as Lord Sri Ram (Hindu God) and Bheemasen (Mythological warrior) long back before the movie even existed !! from their names and features (Rama Raju's- Saffron Attire, his lover's name is "Sita", went to forests and made an army using tribals, man of extreme commitment, Komaram Bheem- Physical strength, Crude attacking nature, Perseverance) being similar to characteristics of Lord Ram from Ramayanam and Bheem from Mahabharatam and out of the level of reverence they've achieved from people. The movie just used these references, to make it more spectacular.
Both left their homes almost in the same period before they started their revolutions against British and Nizam respectively.

Indian films aren't from a single film industry.
India has a set of "Film industries" in it. it's rich diversity in languages spoken within the same country resulted in multiple film industries within the single country. It's an Indian way "Unity in Diversity". each of these film industries have some great movies (along with average ones and disasters)
The name bollywood which was earlier thought by some as the "Indian Film industry" (there's no such thing) is just the industry corresponding to language Hindi... and accounts to just 1/5 of Indian films.
The movies.. "RRR", "Baahubali 1 & 2" are from the Industry corresponding to language "Telugu".
(TFI - Telugu Film Industry or Tollywood). Calling them as bollywood movies is actually insulting !
referring as.. "A Telugu film from India" or just " A movie from Indian Film Industries ".. is very appropriate.. cause there are more than 5 major Film industries within India.

Not just 5 there are more than 5 film industry in india. Whay are u considering only south industries as a film industry. And bollywood as a North Indian. Technically bollywood is in south. So, it must be south indian industry. There are industries like Marathi, bhojpuri, gujrati, Punjabi, bengali and Orria. And bollywood was misunderstood as indian film industry. It is a goddamm indian film industry. What u mean by thought by some and no such thing. It was industry who made indian film industry famous in the world. People know indian film industry becoz of bollywood. And even south films are reaching wider audiences becoz of hindi audiences. Seems like u jst can't digest the fact. And it make 1/5 of indian film. Bollywood is the most making film in the world. Get ur facts right kid👍

Bheem and Raju are two great freedom fighters these two got disappeared for some years and came back and started revolution. In these mean time something changed them and made them do revolution, here Bheem retuned as a litrate (shown at the end of the movie, where ram taught him ) so this film is a friction story that happened the time they disappeared
