Just a note on Harvey maps, they are indeed 100% waterproof.....they're made of polyethylene (plastic) 😉. Myself and my daughter are starting the Pennine way near the end of June, we'll be doing it north to south, depending on how fast you walk, we may bump into you at some point 👍🏻
Wow. Best of luck, Phil. When does your challenge start? Must be really tricky finding the balance between what you need/might need and over all weight. You've done amazing to get all that kit in under 10kg of weight. I know you mentioned Gargrave, so if you're in area and you need anything, just drop me a message. Ps. Can't believe you're not taking a washing machine. Embrace the smell. 😆
A washing machine wouldn't fit in the bag! I start on 1st June for 19 days. Should be passing through Gargrave on Thurs 6th June. The pennine way passes over the river bridge opposite the dalesman cafe. Call me on the day if you're there, don't message as I won't hear it.
Thats some challenge mind, best of luck 😊
Cheers Sir! Big bow to you and i wish the best for your way ahead! Many thanks for sharing!
Best of luck with PW buddy🤟

Thanks for the support. Hopefully posting some more soon.
@philandminiphil my pleasure mate. I'm doing the great glen way in 2 weeks time. Always fascinating seeing what others are using for their hikes.

No Sawyer backwash syringe?
I have one at home. I won't be using it much on the trip so I'll do the maintenance later.
