Update to this New Format:
They have added point system where -
1 Square = 1 points
1 Bingo Line or Diagonal = 2 points
Team with most points after every square in the board is completed will be the winner!
I think this is great! Now, this won't be simple speedrun of rushing & collecting most squares!
Aggy & Domo were playing 1v1 using this format in today's stream & it was alots of fun since it felt like season 2 bingo match!
Edit:
There are lots of very late game squares added such as:
- Kill Malenia
- Kill Borealis
- Kill Astel(Underground one)
- Kill Mountain Top Vyke Evergoal
- +16 Smithing Stone Weapon
(And many more)
Now graces are also unlocked in
- Haligtree
- Snowfield
- Near Lake of Rot (Nokstella Grace is removed)
There are also some changes but Aggy will definitely upload the VOD here with Domo using this format. So, look forward to that!

Its still largely irrelevant and not really an exciting competition as long as there is no interference from the opponent. Its just a single player speedrun but with bonus points for lines, its still not nearly as good as prior where you actually had to be mindful about your opponents decisions that directly affected your game. Tactics are just pretty much pointless now. S3 is gonna blow.

I think a list with all rule breaking cheesing would be really important with the new rule, even with updates like every week if a forgotten cheese is discovered. It's just really important that everyone knows exactly what's against the rules and what isn't
With the convenience graces being a thing, I hope that means new squares in areas that weren't used prior. And that harder squares in altus are less difficult and worth fighting over
Where can I use the bingo card program they use for these videos? I see the JSON file on the BingoBrawlers website but it doesn't say how or where to use this

With this format you should make it so if you do get a line you get a bonus space counted towads the total.

I think what I'll miss most about this format is the set up races. The race for Dectus and the intel labelling a Dectus square or consumable square provides to your opponent. The need for capital access and the skill checks with the jump skip/DTS cheese being make or break for some matches.
I think watching live we'll see some great snipes that the opposing team won't see, but I think this season there's less "investment" in doing a square. Maybe the new format will surprise us all
Also, can someone please tell Aggy the somber 6 and 7 are literally right beside the Nokstella grace 🙄

Yes, they were mentioning that seamless still needs a lot of work for a competitive match. So unfortunately, we probably won't be seeing it in bingo anytime soon

If they are concerned about refs not being able to tell who did what then can't they use similar colours for a team? e.g. Team 1 is red and orange, Team 2 is blue and teal

all for a different format, but...there isnt any strategy to this format. You just bum rush the closest square.
I find myself interested less and less in these because they're so samey. The standard "near start" stuff gets rushed and anything that chains off of it gets focused on. Anything more complex is never going to be focused on because there's zero incentive to ever waste time trying. Anything seemingly special like "consumable only" has a defined optimal strat and nobody's ever going to do anything but that.

as a person who recently found this "bingo" series and started watching at bingo brawlers season 2 (organized season 1 list seems hard to find), i can't say i completely understand changing the parameters. Getting a bingo was one of the ways a losing team could somehow get back in the game or even win. I'm sure there are a lot of reasons behind the scenes contributing to the change but maybe make those reasons public? Perhaps do a vote in which the viewers get to decide. I don't know. I'm sure it will be still be interesting either way but the game is called "bingo" for a reason. Just my two cents. I'll watch either way.
EDIT: I now see that someone posted the new rules below. Thank you. I still am of the mind that a bingo should be more rewarding than just a 6th square so to speak. Removing the threat of a game ending bingo kind of gets rid of the whole blocking game, no?
