- When the sea warms up for the summer season, the sea explodes with life! Even though the winter visibility is long gone, it is exciting to once again spearfish for the curious pollock!
Combining the dive trip with some camping in the beautiful Norwegian scenery definitively gave the weekend that extra touch:)

Hi Aksel, no not really. It is not even allowed overhere. And to be honest no much locations in the Netherlands where you can go spearfishing. De river "Oosterschelde" and de lakes "Grevelingen meer and Veerse meer" are nice diving locations. Although we Dutch live in a country full of water, unfortunately the visibility in most lakes and rivers are poor. Have a nice day and keep making those nice videos. Greetings John

I might visit lofoten islands or places near Tromssa this summer. I am a brand new spearfisherman so is it worth it to bring my gear from Finland there? Visibility here is horrible so I have only 65cm gun but even small pollock would be enough for me. I would definitely stick to the shallows if I decide to take my gear with me
You should definitely bring your gear and give it a try! Otherwise you will probably regret it, believe me been there done that.
As written beneath: bring your stuff! If you're around Tromsø, trying to contact the local student dive club is my best advice:) Generally there's fish under the bridges, but not necessarily anywhere else (Illustrated well in the "Arctic Spearfishing Cup" video I put up a while back). 65cm is quite small, but you'll have to try and get close:)

I can catch the fish from the surface with rods like I have done before when I went to north of Norway. I love that place and diving would be only cherry on the top

Cheers mate, I use the Garmin Descent Mk2s:) Smaller than the other Descent watches, so it goes perfectly as an everyday sports watch as well
