35yrs of ship winch and crane work between me and my Dad, up to 100 tonne lifting cranes..I have done everything from lifting trains to boxes of tea...not impress by crane driver lifting the lumber..should not swing across the truck if lifting in the right place, and if lifting just an inch at a time, so you can lower quickly to stop the swing if need be..love a good winching in hard conditions..I know how the boys feel..well done
