Its so much like my 71 Travelall its insane, i too am goin for ultimate reliability. Instead of 1tons im runnin JT Sport axles/susp. Max tire size will be 35s. Not sure on engine/trans yet, im torn not just between big block or small block but ford or chevy. The trans will be an eod auto, so either the 4l80e or e4od.
New show, I'm in!
" Unbreakable"
Whistlin' Diesel " Hold my beer....."
One of these shows need to have a challenge
The 5k challenge
You only have 5k to both get a car and fix it up making it a show ready car under a budget of 5k
It’s not the most difficult challenge but for them it always seems they spend so much money, so this will be a cool challenge that honestly a lot of car builders can do within reason
Omg music city trucks n can’t wait how this will turned out
I love this new guy!
It has the same wheel and tire combo as my samurai. Mickey Thompson sidebiter 2s and kumho road venture MTs. The burb has at lease one backwards mounted though.
Hell yeah! Let's go music city trucks! Show carcass who's boss.
I think this is gonna be one badass truck
I’m looking forward to watching this build
love the old 87-91 R/V series suburban, owned quite a few only things i dont like are the 90'91 electronic speedos in order for it to work you need an adjustable drac unit so it can be adjusted and compensated for a lift and bigger tires and diffrent gears,If you own an 90/91 convert it to the 89 mechanical speedo with a cable you will thank me later
I’ve been looking all over central TX for a burb any year from 85-91 4x4 GMC
I can tell you my 1999 Suburban LT that I still absolutely love is absolutely breakable. The stupid electronic 4wd is always not working. And if it decides to work than a brake line will obviously start leaking.
Interesting build. Sure hope we can see it all the way through on TH-cam and it doesn’t get sidelined by other projects or forever lost to programming glitches. Hosts change frequently on these shows it seems. Watch your backs boys.
that guy from music city trucks is pretty damn funny, ate that hornet nest like a chad
I have a 90 V2500, my paint is even peeled on the fender like that. Is the transfer case available?
looks kinda like my burb. Yall can see my olive drab 88 on tons on youtube. took the heavy pig to the oregon dunes. ( square body suburban @ coos bay oregon ) tbi 350, hydraulic bellhousing sm465 & 205, kingpin 60 5:13 detroit, f.f. 14 bolt with 5:13 & detroit, 40" nittos, etc. simple & sturdy.
Like this new show and cast member already
Please at least do a shackle flip kit from off-road design. And not a hack skyjacker lift.
I'm the only one still waiting for second part?
My favorite is the rear brake line used as a limit strap!
